Women trade more in Bitcoin!
The Crypto ecosystem is growing and this is the time when we can see lots of action in this space. Be it Defi, NFT and many new innovations coming over here are also making more people get onboarded. Being a part of the crypto space we expect more people to enter because if the global community will grow then prices will be growing automatically. The Crypto market works on demand and supply methodology that means when there will is more demand then prices are bound to increase.
There is an interesting update that women trade more in bitcoin rather than altcoins and this is something that surely makes more interest for bitcoin holders. We know that bitcoin is the mother currency and holds a major chunk of the crypto market cap. Currently when the total crypto market cap is 2.1 trillion then bitcoin has an almost 900 billion market cap which shows 40% dominance in the crypto market. When bitcoin price increase then its dominance also increases and 40% dominance clearly shows that bitcoin is in bearish mode. There are so many investors who only trade in bitcoin and this is the reason why bitcin is leading the market. Although ethereum also holds $460 billion of the market cap which is half of bitcoin and at this figure, we can't ignore the potential of ETH.
Talking about the gender involvement in crypto, Women trade more in bitcoin because it has a proven record whereas men prefer to take more risks and invest in meme coins as well like Shiba.
Interestingly, women traded more in Bitcoin, whereas men traded more in Shiba Inu. About two-thirds of the platform users were below the age of 35. Women users led the surge in new sign-ups, with a growth of more than 1,000 percent, whereas 829 percent more men signed up than the previous year.
Now women are joining crypto with significant numbers and in India, only this growth is over 1000% where men numbers are low as compared. Initially crypto was more for men because its something related to technology and people have a mindset that women are not good at technology. Obviously its not applicable to all the women but looking at stats this percent was lower. Now when things have turned the other way around so there are more sign-ups by women and they are leading the segment as of now. India is one o the emerging market for crypto and these figures are impressive.
I am happy that finally, India is leading with women investors as well and the majority of crypto investors are under the age of 35 with both genders. I am not in favor of genders and crypto is for everyone so as long as anyone is okay to invest then there should not barriers to this. One thing that can boost this, even more, is if there would be a crypto investor education initiative by the exchnage and if govt joins it then it will be even better.
Crypto is a revolution of technology and its future that we can reply on. We believe that crypto is here to stay then why should not govt and exchanges come together to make it easy for everyone in this world. I expect more women will be part of it and together crypto can become another emerging financial segment for financial freedom.

It is an interesting fact that you share with us, I had never thought about that. But it is logical, now women are having more possibilities to be in contact with technology.
There will come a time when everything will be balanced, I particularly like the idea that women can be in the cryptographic environment, and that they are gaining ground.

You're right, no one can tell the difference between the genders in technology and if they have enough skills. It's not wrong if everyone tries it, both women and men.
