Appearance Never Depicts Who We Are Inside
Good day everyone. Hope the week has been going on smoothly. In life, we realize that so many people claim to be one person somewhere and another person entirely somewhere else. So I got talking with few friends and we were discussing about this topic when someone made an example of a well respected man in the community who was also the boss of a reputable company.
This man was easy going, cool headed, sweet looking gentle young man and had a lovely and caring wife and was always showing so much love and care to the wife. It kept going on and on until one day when an old friend of the wife showed up and claimed she was raped and sought for refuge in her friends house. The wife who was kind-hearted gladly took her in and asked the husband to allow her stay with them for a while.
Well the husband never turns down the wife so he accepted. Days and weeks passed and the couple decided that this friend will start working at the husband's office and they also got her her own apartment so she can be comfortable. The lady friend was so grateful for all these kind gestures and promised never to let them down.
She started working with the husband and later, at the close of work, the husband gets to drop her off at her house. She was grateful for this and the husband didn't stop dropping her off. It happened over and over again until one day the tyre of the boss car went flat and the lady had to call a mechanic around to fix it while the boss had no choice than to enter into the lady's apartment to wait. The lady offered him cake and wine and so one thing led to another and they got drunk, shared a kiss and was almost lost but later got back to their senses.
The next day at the office, the lady dropped her resignation letter but the boss persuaded her not to go and that he was going to change her working department so that they won't be able to see each other regularly. But unfortunately, while persuading her, he fell for her again and kissed her. That was the beginning of the issues. They became petrol and fire who always catch fire anytime they are together.
Now, he no longer has time for his wife, started coming back home late and drunk and kept on sleeping with his wife's friend. One thing led to another and this lady friend threatened to tell the wife about their relationship when the man was trying to back off and while arguing and fighting over that issue, the man broke a bottle and stabbed the lady. Investigations after a while finally showed that the boss was responsible for the death of the lady and that was when the wife made the statement in tears that "Looks and appearance can never depict who we are inside". The wife loved and trusted her husband so much and couldn't believe her so called God fearing and very caring husband is capable of cheating talkless of murder.
Let's not be deceived. No one can be trusted, not even you can trust yourself. Just always be careful to do the right thing and be in the right place at the right time always. May we not be implicated wrongly.

I agree with you, certainly we can't evaluate the personality being carried away by the appearance, because the appearance in a certain way only reflects 50% of the real behavior of a person, however, the facts are an indication to describe a person, as well as his tone of voice, his look, among other elements. Your story is very common in marriages, and precisely what happened to that couple, is what unleashes the real behaviors of the husband or wife.

Hello friend, the truth is a complicated situation, but it can happen. Certainly sometimes we think we know someone and it is not so, we are a sea of secrets, we are all capable of making big mistakes, depending on the circumstance, I think no one is free of sin, but it does not mean that this makes us bad people.

Believe me even we do not know what we are capable of sometime, so we have to be very careful with our dealing with other. Good write-up.
If the husband was so careful and not dropping the lady in her home regularly maybe this problem will not occur.
That's very true. He didn't give her space at all.
Appearance never speaks well about our personality, some people that appear calm are usually terrible on the inside while those who have a fierce look are sometimes the extremely calm ones. Appearance and personality are two different things that must be han and understood differently.
That's very right and I have seen many examples like that.
This is really a powerful experience. Truly no one can be trusted. I even always say that if one find it difficult to trust oneself, then how much more trusting others.
It's very difficult to put trust in people.
Hello friend, what a good story, I do not rule out that at some point has happened in real life, as we say in my country "faces we see but we do not know hearts" human behavior can become unstable, therefore, we move away from perfection, our actions is a reflection of who we are appearances are deceiving.
