Well I had never used blocktrades and have never done any withdrawal transactions till date on Steem, so not really sure on the user interface part of Steemscan. I checked their site, it looks kind of convenient.
On the fees part, I guess a % model will be better then a fixed one for everyone's benefit and also competitive, else people may not be lured to use it.
