MyLittleBook: let's talk SMTs and content relevancy

This past week, I wrote two posts about SMTs. Here are the links:

I'll be continuing with the future of SMTs but open things up to be more speculative than the whitepaper examination.

This is my fifth post in this series. Below is an excerpt from the initial post serving as inspiration.

The landscape of blogging and social media is changing.

The Issue

Why We Need SMTs

Online content is disorganized to say the least. In fact, I have read business leader's comments that discuss how we are only tapping 1% of the available information out their. We need SMTs to help make use of this information.

A Bit of an Analysis

Below is an [condensed] exert from SKY TRANSIT: future of SMTs to help paint a picture of how SMTs might develop:

  • smt_create ...Numerical Asset Identifier (NAI)...
  • smt_setup ...descriptor object ... permanent configuration data ...
  • smt_setup_emissions ...inflation operations...
  • smt_set_runtime_parameters ...asset symbol... author/curation reward ...
  • database_api.find_smt_contributions...tracking...ICO phase...
  • database_api.find_smt_token_emissions ...rewards...
  • rc_api.get_resource_params ...export... resource...
  • vote2 ...cast a vote...
  • RB: Blog Feed output blog details...
  • database_api.get_config ...information about compile-time...

The above was taken from my adaption from a query for "smt" with the primary role of active owner. Let me know if the following makes more sense and/or if accurate:

  • identify a digital asset
  • then describe and assign an initial value
  • begin to create functional operations like inflation mechanism and other deterministic valuation
  • add author/curation rewards
  • add search and tracking capabilities
  • include exportation mechanisms
  • institute voting or other content engagement incentives
  • include readable metrics

Identify > Define > Program > Reward > Track

Content relevancy can begin by identifying it as a digital asset and then defining the best parameter for what makes it special.

Programming would naturally follow, and until the crypto market matures, it would make sense that smart contracts remain adaptable.

Rewards are why the majority of people have gravitated toward crypto.

However, developers know that tracking and validation are among the most powerful tools that blockchain has over traditional systems.

Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

well I'm one of the many people who are waiting for the SMT, We will see how long the fashion lasts and how positive they will result, it has a good prospect although not talk about them currently.

Our likes have value to advertisers. SMTs allow us to like things that are not on Steemit. Hard to imagine this not coming about. If not Steemit then some other blockchain.

We definitely need SMT according to your analysis and one of the reasons I love SMT is the ability of user to engage in the diversification of cryptos and hence, you earn more.

Thanks for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great day ahead

Imagine an easy plugin on personal websites that link to a Steemit or Hive account. Just a thought :)

SMT is most awaited thing and everyone waiting for it. but now no one talking about SMTs. thank you for the information about it. Keep sharing my friend ♥

Yeah, its been mostly developer thing. And then came Libra. Seems like there will be direct competition. Maybe Steemit and Hive devs are prepping for an intense battle.
