Reversing the ecological damage we have done to the planet as a mandatory question in times of modernity
As the environmental chaos on the planet progresses, questions arise as to how to reverse the serious damage we have done to the natural spaces of our mother nature for decades, but the main question is it possible to reverse the ecological damage we have done to the planet, or rather, can we repair the whole disaster that to date affects the survival of our own species?.
According to experts in environmental ecology, the problem is that the natural self-repair systems of planet earth are very, very slow, but nevertheless, our mother nature will still make corrections and will be healthy in time, therefore, the real problem concerns mankind itself, since we must solve environmental disasters immediately if we want to extend our own existence.
It is necessary to analyze all the changes that throughout the time our mother nature has executed, for example; in some points of the geological history there have been fires in great areas, on the other hand, great part of the planet was covered with ice, this without forgetting to mention, that also throughout the geological history of the planet there have been massive extinctions that finished with almost all the alive beings in certain moments.
In this sense, in our current geological context as human beings we have damaged the ecological and environmental systems that sustain us in many ways, by guaranteeing us raw material and edaphoclimatic conditions for the metabolic functioning of our species and therefore of life.
However, despite the fact that Mother Nature has given us raw materials and soil and climatic conditions for the metabolic functioning of our species and therefore of life, we have polluted the air and water, spread plastic and other types of garbage on the land and in the oceans and rivers, and destroyed habitats of flora and fauna.
Consequently, and bearing in mind that there has been much progress since people began to realize the serious ecological and environmental problems we have caused, the question arises whether it is possible to reverse the ecological damage we have done to the planet?.

Hello dear friend @lupafilotaxia, a good question that you share with us, to which I would say that the damage can be reversed, but by changing the rates of exploitation of natural resources, the earth could begin to regenerate its ecosystems and achieve ecological balance maintaining its biodiversity and natural processes without any alteration, is what is sought with sustainability, but this new paradigm has become a fashionable concept that very few means of production put into practice.
