Very recently I wrote about the attack that the servers of my university received in the area of telematics and computer services.

You can read at the following link: Ransomware is attacking my university..

Computer services.

At the time of writing this post I have received the information that they are still working hard in the direction of the computer services of my university, in order to recover the computers, when I say recover I mean that they are formatting all the computers that were attacked by This malicious "Ransomware" software, until all the computers are properly formatted, will not be able to connect and begin to reinstall again all the programs necessary to put the administrative and student services online.

They managed to flee my country

It certainly has not been very easy to get the computing department back on track, and this is due to the lack of staff in that department. The reason is the one that all Venezuela suffers, many but many Venezuelans managed to flee my country and that includes several coworkers and especially that fundamental department that is the computer brain of the university.

Extreme quarantine.

The few personnel who are working to put the teams into operation are doing what is humanly possible. Something that is against is the city where the university's rectory is located, in that city it has extreme quarantine measures, and for this reason they can only be in the offices for only three hours a day, which I mean people can circulate from 8 am. until 11 am.

Due to this situation of extreme quarantine, my colleagues can only circulate until 11 am, if they do so after those hours they run the risk of being detained by the police.

To leave the offices.

To have the operational teams there are only two people in charge of all the equipment, and they are the director of the computer services and a computer engineer, so only those two people are working, imagine for a moment that, because they are working you forget the time to leave and unfortunately leave your office after 11 am. You simply run the risk of being arrested by the police, and this would be very unfortunate that for helping the university they put you in jail, because that is the terrible situation in my country.

Both of them, the director of computing and the engineer, do their best and all of us from our nuclei wish that they can finish and can put all the computer services of the university into operation.

This attack that our university received for this malicious software "Ransomware" is terrible

The university will achieve a resurgence.

The biggest piece of advice I give you is. DO NOT PAY never ransom.

PROJECT #HOPE An Initiative to give hope!

Delegate us 1000 SP

Hopefully by now you think that our efforts are worth your support and you'll consider delegating some SP to help us grow. We will be happy to have you on-board our project and in return we share 100% ROI (curation rewards) with all delegators.
We share those rewards on a weekly basis and currently 1000 SP delegated to @project.hope will result with a profit of average 2 STEEM / week (which is slightly more than pretty much all delegating bots are offering).

I am glad the university is working on getting back their system from these hackers without having to pay a ransom that is good news and well done to the university team in charge.

Those ransomware software perhaps they should really traced their source where it is coming from

Very good to know that things are returning to normal. On the other hand, it is very bad to see the bad intention of some people.

Just like @mandate said, could the source of the software be traced it will be a good thing to get the culprits.

They have a hard time working, as Mr. churchil said in the second world war "getting up will cost blood, sweat and tears" but I don't doubt that your university will succeed.

Even my university was also hacked yesterday. When i tried to open the website , it said don't carry admission procedure when the city is under lockdown. As many students dont know to carry out online transaction and many are stuggling through the pendemic, the admission procedure should be free or should be cancelled. The hackers also saide that it is not a joke. If the demand will not be fulfilled they will make all their secret public.

I still don't know why some developers engage in creating such a very harmful program just for their personal and selfish interest.

Thanks for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great day ahead
