An established Business/product and branding are 5 and 6. When you talk about branding of any product, you talk about the sole of the product in the market or in the heart of the consumers. Branding is the marketing term that puts an image in the heart of consumers when they hear, or see your product. Coca-cola from its branding has been attributed to happiness, friendship, and family. These are what they sell to their customers when they are selling the narrative of their business and what it is meant to deliver. Branding starts with as simple as a logo, but goes beyond the logo.

When starting a new business, you need to understand the importance of coaching to branding. You need to know clearly that branding is the DNA of your business. Create a brand essence for your product or service. The brand essence could go back into a little history into why you wanted the product to be out there, or the legacy the business want to leave down forever.

Ensure to make sure that you brand your business to differentiate it from other businesses. Let your branding give your business an unequal advantage with its competitors and those yet to come. Work on what distinguishes the business and brand from other brands, be sure to put into consideration how you want customers to perceive your business, your product, and the thought of your business. What comes into their mind when they hear the name of your business, what emotion does the brand evoke, and why it should be appreciated by your customers. You must be able to keep these key branding requirement up.

You should understand that branding isn't logo, the logo of a business is the symbol of the business. Branding is not the product or services being sold to the customer, the brand is not a promise of what you intend to do, because companies can make promises and still break them, since the market isn't predictable. Branding could be regarded as a sum of all the impression that a business wants you to have about them, but it goes more than that. With branding, you can sell an impression to customers, but you need the customer's gut feeling about the product, services, or company for it to become a brand. As a business owner, your job in the branding segment is to instill what you want your customer to see your business as. Your brand in the heart of your customer ends up to be your reputation. A brand is the result of whatever perception you throw to your customers to make, which should be beneficial to the business and the product.
