Keys to the success of a project

Hello everyone!

Surely we will agree that there are many determining elements in the success of a project, success is not achieved through a magic formula nor does it come from nothing; When we observe a successful project, business or group, we must recognize that behind this success, a series of elements were combined to make this possible.

If we try to understand the success of some recognized projects, both in industry and in the social sphere, we find that there are common elements that stand out in each case, and one of them is leadership. From Henry Ford and his success in the automobile industry, Nelson Mandela and his fight against apartheid to Simón Bolívar and his fight for freedom in America.

A good leader.

Leadership is an essential element to achieve the success of a project, the leader is a visionary, he is the person who has the clearest vision of what he wants to achieve, this implies having a clear notion of the resources that are needed to achieve the objective of said project.

A good leader will manage and adapt all the resources available to him, in order to achieve maximum performance in the race towards the objective he wants to achieve.

The leader will be able to deal with the inconveniences that arise and put the project at risk, until achieving a minor impact on the development of activities related to it.

Absence of the leader.

When leadership is lost, the risk of failure increases, jeopardizing the objectives set.

With the absence of the leader, confusion takes place by replacing the vision, making decision making more difficult or making wrong decisions.

In many cases with the absence of the leader dreams die, and without dreams there is no reason to continue.

A good leadership is the one who maintains the spirit in the project, when there is no leader, enthusiasm and commitment diminish.

Conclusions.

Strong leadership is undoubtedly a guarantee for a successful project, although we agree that leadership alone will not succeed, leadership itself contributes a high percentage to the success of a project.

I particularly think that the rest of the elements that help the success of a project must necessarily be grouped around good leadership in order to be able to make up that series of elements that together contribute to success.

I also got this experience.
Im my company they want change the "old structur" of leadership but I do the experience that many people just don't want to decide things, for them it is very hard if they should decide.
They got used to the fact, that an leader do the decisions for them and not to the point that they should decide self.

There are those who try to change the traditional structure of the leader, but without a leader responsible for the project everything will be confusing, there will be decisions that no one dares to make or they will simply be waiting for someone else to make them, that brings delay and confusion.

A helmsman is always required on the ship.

a key factor is the motivation that the leader offers and how empathetic you are with your team.You have to be tactful and put yourself in the position of your members pretty difficult thing to find today.Excellent post, very good analysis and very motivating friend.

Of course, the leader must be able to highlight the best of his team, make them have the best performance, that is why leadership is essential for the success of a project.

The project can be very good, but without a leader to execute it, you have many chances of failing.

Certainly the leader is very important in any business, but I also believe that the team behind him is just as valuable, if the leader really knows how to be a good teacher perhaps in the moment he is not present his absence will not be felt!

A good leader is indeed a very important and crucial factor or key which determines the success or failure of a project. The leader impacts his or her followers by training them and making them work together with him to achieve success in such project.

This is one of the reasons it's always important to engage in more scrutiny practice when selecting a leader because the leader is just like a driver who drives a bus containing lot of passengers and if anything happens, the driver(leader) is to be blamed.

This is a great analogy, the leader is responsible for the success and also for the failure, he can make all the pieces within the project do what is needed for the success.
