Certainly, projects that increase their popularity overnight are likely to have an abrupt drop the next day, which can be interpreted as a weakness of the cryptographic world, and putting it in question before governments and other financial institutions, which leads to losing many potential investors, or worse, attracting only those who are interested in making quick money and getting their capital out. That is why I would also like to see a slow but steady growth of the cryptographic market, to build a solid market.
