RECENT TRIP TO SWITZERLAND – my own personal HURRAY !!!
Just two days ago I posted an article explaining the reasons for my recent trip to Switzerland. During which .... |

INTRODUCTION
... I had a chance to introduce Steem blockchain (and my work on steemit) to the CEO of an already existing SWISS company. This publication enjoyed quite a few amazing and intelligent comments, for which I’m very grateful for.
I didn’t want to make my previous post too long, so I decided to break it in two pieces, and today I would LOVE TO SHARE with you my personal reasons as to why I’m so excited about this particular trip. Today, I would like to share a little bit of my joy with you all J
REAL, EXISTING BUSINESS
The other day @enforcer48 wrote an interesting comment:
The real question is, what does this company do that requires a blockchain?
Is the company planning on being a content creator? Or are they going to use the blockchain as a database like Splinterlands?
If their idea is to use reward pool as a source of revenue, then it might be better for them to not be here at all. Any "business" that relies on the reward pool is not a business. At least, not one that brings value into the ecosystem
Those are all valid points and I fully agree with him. I'm quite aware that the source of revenue coming from the STEEMIT REWARD POOL is nothing but pennies. Real money is elsewhere and my goal isn't to "milk the cow" (steemit). As a matter of fact – I’m planning to do exact opposite..
So what would that business be about?
I've been in touch with this CEO of this particular SWISS business since last year and we've been discussing the idea of tokenizing company assets (ownership) and launching a fully legal STO (security token offering) once regulatory framework in Switzerland will be fully established. It will most likely happen sometime in 2020. Depending on the progress with adaptation of the regulatory framework.
This has company existed over 3 years already, has a healthy foundation (very little debt) and is progressing very rapidly. They are expanding so far mostly thanks to the revenue from their daily operations and are currently already employing several full time employees.
To expand their business we've created a plan of tokenizing it's assets, launching their own STO (either using Smart Valor or Polymath as a platform) and selling part of that tokenized company ownership in order to receive extra funding - this would allow for further expansion. Fully legal, following all of the regulatory framework.
You may ask: how would that benefit STEEM blockchain? Let me explain …
MY OWN PERSONAL HURRAY!!!
So ... I've been presented with an amazing opportunity to be hired as a project manager and one of my tasks will be to help build a team (my focus would be on building a group of influencers and online marketers). If things will go right, then for many of those who support my efforts and collaborate with me, it would also be a game-changer.
Guys, just think about it:
it's not another MVP (Minimum viable product) or just whitepaper backed up by an idea. It's a real business, with real history and real money. We’ve been preparing for a very long and funding for an entire operation has been already secured (I also had the chance to get to know our future strategic investor).
This business is growing every year and following realistic goals. And to be part of their team - that's my long term goal.
I’m not saying that this project will have any impact on the price of STEEM, however I can already see many ways in which this can benefit some Steemit users. And after all, we are all an essential part and core of STEEM blockchain.
Aren’t we?
Anyway I hope I'm making sense :) All rewards from this post will be shared with @project.hope and @ph-fund. Be generous with your upvotes :)
Cheers,
Yours, Piotr
Dear friend Piotr,
You almost got me raising an eyebrow with the first sentence but I've continued reading x) After this, just before continue reading, my first thought was: "Wasn't Crypto.Piotr trying to add value to STEEM blockchain?!"And then I get to this and sigh in relief ×Þ Well, some people might not get how it will be beneficial thou I can understand what You're saying, even with a bad view in relation to the majority of marketing..Cy
Hi @cyberspacegod
Thanks again for your valuable comment.
I fully agree. Personally I cannot really yet tell exactly how it all would be beneficial to STEEM blockchain. Naturally I've some vision and ideas and time will show how many of those are failure.
Anyway I see many opportunities ahead and even the fact that few of us could secure ourselfs solid extra income (mostly as a marketing support) and because we would be paid in STEEM - it already means a lot. After all it gives a reason for some valuable users to stay active and supportive towards others.
Hope I'm making sense. I've been working today long hours and my brain is fried already lol
ps.
Bloom downvoted your comment again. Sucker ;) I upvoted it back and it's visible again.
Cheers, Piotr
Don't mention it ;)
And I understand somewhat why the "secrecy", it makes sense for now, let things roll out at their pace and on time You reveal what must be revealed ^^Þ (I freakin' loved the idea of an employer paying in STEEM, that for example is an awesome thing, for many reasons..)..You are making sense, don't worry about it =Þ Take a couple minutes to rest and be with Your wife ^^) (I have been working myself a lot in the last couple of days, in a different area, and to help people out, thou, it happened to pay even with me not wanting to accept it, also had very good food cooked by friends, since I cook 99,9% of my meals it felt so good ^^Ð..)Yeah, bloom, what can I say, I'll take one for "the team" still, thank You very much for countering part of the downvotes, it's much appreciated!!All the best bro,Cy
Good morning @cyberspacegod
I just realized that I never thanked you for your previous comment. BIG THX! :)
ps.
Also - would you mind if I take few minutes of your time? (I hope I'm not asking this question to often ;)
Anyway .... together with few core members of project.hope team - we'te trying to promote our recent publication: an article explaining economy behind our non-profit community project build on STEEM blockchain.
Perhaps I could ask you to spare few minutes and check it out and share your feedback with me.
I would absolutely appreciate it a lot. I read all comments and I drop solid upvote on each valuable one.

Will they try to use SMTs for that? Or centralized tokens like Steem Engine does?
Either way, it would probably work.
Dear @steemflagrewards
Thank you for showing your interest with my post. Appreciate that.
At the moment noone knows how SMT would look like and I still have doubts if STINC will actually deliver what they promised (so far they have very awful record with not-delivering).
Personally I can see SMTs as potentially great way to launch utility tokens, but businesses thinking about STO (security token offerings) probably will not be interested with that solution.
Obviously time will tell. LEt's wait for SMTs and hopefully it won't be a major dissapointment

Piotr
Hi Piotr, that's interesting.
Can you add some colour to these assets?
Are they digital or hardware, are they exchanged often, is privacy an issue, ist it B2B, B2C and so on?
Occasionally I'm wondering about real world applications of blockchains. More often than not my conclusion is that (public) blockchains are not the answer.

Thanks @bluerobo for dropping by. However I got confused once you've asked me that question:
Colour? To assets?
Wow. so many questions. I think at this stage it's still to early to answer. There isn't many STOs out there yet and platforms like Polymath and Smart Valor are still waiting for regulatory framework to be "completed" before things will move forward.
Interesting. How come? Where does this conclusion came from?
ps. I've looked at your account and it seem that you love charts ? :) Sometimes I'm wondering if charts matter in current age, knowing that markets are being manipulated by central banks like never before.
Yours, Piotr

Hi
Did you hear about communities on beta.steemit.com?
We just created and I'm testing "Project HOPE" community and hive-175254 seem to be ID of this community.
Check out this link and
subscribe

Aah cool, let me check that out.

Hive is the new communities feature that is still under beta testing. Therefore it is not a full fledged working module that needs a lot of tweaking and improvement.

Hi @karamyog
Did you manage to subscribe? :)
did that just now. checked it out yesterday but started exploring the site and forgot to subscribe. thanks for the reminder!
Nice to see our little group growing. Been real busy lately, but it has been on my mind. Was also wondering what you came back with from your trip.
Hope busy is good @machnbirdsparo?
ps.
check out also my previous post if you have a moment:

I would love to skype with you one of those days, once you won't be so busy (probably it won't happen anytime soon lol :P)

Thanks for dropping by @dses
I've just noticed that you posted few interesting publications lately. Gonna check them out right away.
Cheers,
Piotr
Hello dear friend @crypto.piotr.
Please excuse my question outside the main topic of the publication:
Do communities have a wallet?
That is, where do the rewards of publications made in the community go?
As a member, I can publish directly on the "Project.Hope Community" blog (https://beta.steemit.com/hive-175254), but where do the rewards go?
Does the community receive any payment?
Or would you only receive it if you post with the account @hive-175254?
Your friend, Juan.
I'm interested in how micro-communities will impact Steemit at large.
What are you thinking in terms of a separate wallet?
Hi @machnbirdsparo
How have you been buddy? You've dissapeared from steemit again for a while ;P
Would you have any suggestions yourself?
ps. please check out my previous post and share your feedback with me:

:) was a while. Finally feeling comfortable with my new mobile set up and financial plan for the year.
Greetings appreciated @machnbirdsparo.
Initially I had some confusion regarding community rewards. Then I noticed that the communities are represented by a unique steem account (those @hive-xxxx) and have their own wallet.
I invite you to read, please, this comment that I dropped @crypto.piotr.
https://steemit.com/hive-175254/@juanmolina/q2hhex
Your friend, Juan.
Thanks. This helps.
Hi!
it´s my pleasure, dear friend.
Hi @juanmolina
You made me a bit confused. Rewards of publications will still go to authors and curators, right? Nothing has changed in this aspect (to my knowledge)./
Cheers
Piotr
Greetings appreciated @crypto.piotr.
I think I have clarified these doubts myself.
I meant the community account wallet. That is the account @hive-175254.
I see that it is possible to make publications directly using this account, in this case the rewards would go to the wallet.
But I still feel confused with this:
If this post was made by @crypto.piotr, then why does it appear as "pending rewards" in the community balance?
Your friend, Juan.
Strange, isn't it @juanmolina?
I also with to understand:
And there isn't many answers given. I'm seriously surprised that STINC didn't bother to release some "guide" to help us out.
Cheers
Piotr
Hello Piotr, my dear friend.
Definitely, trying to monetize on steem with the current price, depending on the rewards pool, doesn't make much sense.
It has long been said that it is necessary to bring fresh capital to steem, new investors would give a new dynamic to the ecosystem, even greater than thousands of new users.
But the main value that an investor in blockchain steem can obtain is not to obtain income from rewards, but to take advantage of the opportunity of a world platform that is free. With high level of scalability.
Steem Blockchain is evolving and we must evolve along with it.
Your Friend, Juan.
Dear @juanmolina
You nailed it! Right now we need businesses more than we need new users.
Thank you for your kind comment and the one in my previous post. Appreciate them both.
And I'm glad to be in same team with someone as supportive and consistent as you are.
Enjoy your weekend,
Piotr
You have managed to blush me with those kind words.
For me it is a real pleasure and a great honor to work with you and belong to the Project Hope team.
Hugs!
Looking for more explanations about what is the bussiness of this company and how you intend to tokenize their assets.
Thanks @chrisaiki for dropping by.
Have you ever heard about Polymath or Smart Valor and concept of launching STO? I presume that you are familiar with those topics?
Yours, Piotr
You can actually look into the upcoming SMT that will be the top layering of the Steem blockchain as it slowly migrates into a utility token that only SMT will later be giving out incentives.
Right now we are working on a new launched project with the same questions you have stated out ; but our end solution is that we wanted to help this manufacture to reintroduce their product to the mass (including the Steem blockchain community) with a more CSR approach; so that they will slowly become part of the supportive entity for other Small Medium Enterprises and low income group creative content creators in the future.
Do check them out @capduagajah. They just started and it would be great that there are more support and awareness of their existence and maybe, this offers an idea for your Swiss production company too.

Hi @dses
I'm also quite excited about concept of SMT and hopefully STINC will finally deliver what they promissed so long time ago.
Thanks for recommending me to @capduagajah. I will definetly check out this profile right away.
ps.
Perhaps you could spare few min and also share your feedback in my previous (recent) publication:

I remember your previous post about this trip, I was glad that the plans you develop are moving forward, also that they made you an interesting proposal.
I am not a great connoisseur, but if I am curious about the business idea, I wonder if it will be using the steem blockchain as a way of public validation registration, a way to authenticate content creation or as a content dissemination platform own ...
Well, the options are enough, surely they are many more than I can imagine.
That everything goes well and everything is to get better.
PS: I think I share what @juanmolina points out at https://steemit.com/hive-175254/@crypto.piotr/recent-trip-to-switzerland-my-own-personal-hurray#@juanmolina/q2feqk regarding to monetization and the need for new investors. Hopefully this new task that you start will achieve its goals and help the development of the blockchain as a whole.
Dear @pedrobrito2004
Thank you for your kind comment and the one in my previous post. Appreciate them both.
I'm quite sure that slowly and steadily we will get there. I'm glad to have you on board :)
Cheers,
Piotr
Thanks @crypto.piotr!

It's really interesting what you're showing. I'm sure it will bring valuable benefits to everyone.
I still have a lot to learn about the chain of blocks, but I know that your blog is a place where you can learn a lot. I am attentive to any learning.
I hope you can concretize everything exposed and organize your team with the most prepared that you have around you. In the same way, if you need help, I am at your disposal.
He sent you a cordial greeting!
pd: waiting for a good answer to your question. Answered by a user with more knowledge than mine in this particular.
Dear @yonnathang
Thank you for your kind comment and the one in my previous post. Appreciate them both.
