Greetings friends,

It @besticofinder here. After I saw this contest organized by @josevas217 , which is based on a very interesting topic. I must say these words by Muhammad Yunus got my attention and it suddenly brought lot of negative aspects of modern technology came to my mind.

But when doing a little research I noticed that Muhammad Yunus was a great man who worked to prevent poverty in Bangladeshi. And he was not against the technology but against the negative uses of modern technology. check his following words,

Unprecedented technological capabilities combined with unlimited human creativity have given us tremendous power to take on intractable problems like poverty, unemployment, disease, and environmental degradation. So l 100% agree with the above statement. Technology helps in lot of ways and also it can be used to develop nasty weapons. But we can't blame the technology for that.. it's the competition for power. The competition for power make people kill each other and the one who use the technology well always win. Stats say that at least 100 million people were killed in wars in the last century. And I believe the viruses like SARS , COVID are things created with technology for different political reasons.

So according to my point of view , technology is just a method what we can use to achieve a certain objective. That objective can be positive or a negative one. It's not the fault of the development of modern technology , but the intentions of the person who use it. I will explained it like this.

• Adolf Hitler created Tiger Tanks, invented nerve gases , Horten Ho 229 bombers with the help of modern technology and took life's of millions. The issue is with his intentions , not the technology he used.

• Robert Oppenheimer created the atomic bombs with the help of nuclear technology and killed thousands of innocent Japanese people. The issue is not the technology , but his intentions. We never blame Enrico Fermi for inventing nuclear chain reactions.

So the problem is not with the technology , how people use it. check out the following example.

• Sir Alexander Fleming invented Penicillin , Stats are estimating that this invention has saved around 80 million lives up to now and still saving lives around the world. This is what technology can do when it's used with good intentions.

So the technology is just some thing we use to achieve our objectives. We should know how to use it.
