Indian Rap Artist Raftaar became the first to Accept Fee in Crypto
Many times we talk about that it would be great if we get the option to get our salary in crypto. Even if we ever would get the option to pay for services using crypto and much another use case of crypto. Brining crypo in our real-life will increase the use case which will surely make it move toward mass adoption. If we look at the bigger picture then we can see that some of the companies and more people have started accepting crypto which is very good and I hope that in the coming days it will increase further.
Now there is another update that one of the artists in India has started taking his performance fee in cryptocurrency. He is a rapper artist and his name is Raftar. He has started taking his performance fee in crypto instead of actual currency. Raftar is a popular name here in India and this is good because maybe some more artists follow him and even I will not be surprised if any Bollywood actor starts doing and if it happens its going to be great in India.
Rapper Raftaar has announced that he will accept cryptocurrency instead of actual currency as his performance fee. He has become the first Indian artiste to do so. Raftaar said that he has been an ardent admirer of blockchain technology and accepting payment using the same technology is like a dream come true for him. He has already started taking crypto payments for his show scheduled to be held in July.
With each passing day, we can see something happening in the crypto space and this kind of action where people all the companies are adopting crypto for real-life things. People call crypto virtual money and now we are getting this involved in our life. It has huge potential and its just a matter of time to have around almost everything.
Some companies have already started paying some part of my salary in crypto however I am not that much lucky but if I ever get the chance then I would love to have it. There will be no second thought if I ever get this opportunity because this is something that will help me to have better crypto holdings.
I am a fan of Raftar and after this announcement, he earned more respect from the crypto community and I am sure that many more people will realize the potential and follow this trend to bring more real-life use cases to crypto.

in Venezuela the use of coins is quite common, in some products merchants prefer you to pay with coins instead of "bolivar fuerte" which is the national currency, the use of coins for the payment of services is the only thing that from my point of view will give a solid floor to the value of coins.

Using crypto to pay someone's salary has advantages and disadvantages actually, as you need to find a very stable currency such as USDT to pay with it, otherways it would be risky to pay someone with crypto that might go up one day or might go down badly, so it is really confusing whether it should be a thing or not, but for sure doing that will help the crypto world to grow more rapidly.
I haven't thought about it this way. It is quite confusing thinking about it in that way ooo. I don't know how it can be possible. You can pay someone 10 Hive monthly which is worth $10, then next month 10 Steem is now $2 which is bad for the employee or it increases to $50 which is bad for the employers.

Super interesting especially because announcements like the one Raftaar made can make some important people who don't believe even in cryptocurrencies change their way of thinking, it only takes some famous person to say he will invest in crypto for the market to skyrocket, I have not heard anything from Raftaar but I will do it I respect a lot and value Indian culture and hope to go someday, I am a fan of Bolywood movies one of my favorite movies based on the book is Mistress of species starring Aishwarya Rai if you have not seen it I recommend it and I am going to look for Raftaar.
