Hello everyone

Today in this post I am going to cover a topic from the book- "How to win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie - "A Simple Way to Make a Good First Impression"

I want to thank @crypto.piotr for this great initiative and allowing reading this book and learning to get something useful out of the book. I was thinking that I will get something interesting and useful out of this book but when I started reading then I realize that this is such a wonderful book and there is a lot I can learn.

A Simple Way to Make a Good First Impression

This is the first topic that I have gone through and its quite interesting. As far as I know that first impression is very important when we are meeting someone and if it is good then later we need not to struggle with this but if in case the first impression is not good Ud then another person find it difficult to have trust and faith on ourselves.

In today's corporate world meeting with different clients and customer is part of our job and make it effective it's important to know how to present ourselves in front of them. Any guidance on what's this is very helpful and the author has nicely written in the book about it.

Author Dale has talked about this topic in around 6 pages and after going through it I found few lines very much interesting so sharing here for you guys to have a look-

Whenever you go out-of-doors, draw the chin in, carry the crown
of the head high, and fill the lungs to the utmost; drink in the sunshine, greet your friends with a smile, and put a soul into every handclasp. Do not fear being misunderstood and do not waste a minute thinking about your enemies. Try to fix firmly in your mind what you would like to do; and then, without veering off direction, you will move straight to the goal. Keep your mind on the great and splendid things you would like to do, and then, as the days go gliding away, you will find yourself unconsciously seizing upon the opportunities that are required for the fulfillment of your desire, just as the coral insect takes from the running tide the element it needs.

Indeed and smile on the face confident people who are confident and the person instead of having side tired type of face. If I talk about my personal then I always ensure to make myself look happy whenever I go for the client meeting because this way the impact on the meeting is quite fruitful. Smile is a very small thing but let me tell you that the impact of your smile can make a big difference.

Few things that Dale talked about in this topic are very much useful and I can say that we must follow to leave a positive first impression on anyone. While going out we should think positively, keep a smile on the face, greet people, and be confident. These are some of of the things that make us a better personality

I started reading this book from the last weekend and it took about 2 weekends for me to finish this book. I think that I am a slow reader but within this time I have realized that this is such a nice book and I dont want to read in a hurry. Its ok if I am taking time but I enjoy the book thoroughly.

I will start with another topic and will share about it in my next publication

A lot to really learnt from the book and it is a worth recommendation for people.to try out. And I am surprised that you have finished the book, I am still yet to finish the book

One of the best-sold books of history. Almost 100 years old but still actual. Taps on basic instincts of humans. Highly recommended, in my opinion.

Hello friend, I agree with you that this is a book that we don't want to read in a hurry, it has many things to teach us. On the other hand, the first impression will always be fundamental, especially when we talk about business or looking for a job, your expressions say a lot about you and I think that having a friendly face without pressure can be very helpful.

Also showing us as we are is important, the idea is not to put on a mask and show someone we are not. You have to look for a balance in everything.

when I started reading then I realize that this is such a wonderful book and there is a lot I can learn.

I'm glad to hear that you've enjoyed reading this particular book. I also found content in this book to be very interesting and valuable. And so universal (book was initially written so very long time ago).

Hopefully you have a nice and warm smile :) I apparently look like 'dracula' with long and sharp teeth so I've learned to smile with my eyes, more than with my lips.
