Traveling the World #183 - Starbucks Reserve Roastery @ Tokyo, Japan (Part 2)

Hi Everyone,

After showing you the first floor of the roastery and where most people are, as it is the place to brew coffee, I am not going to take you to the place I would head over at the first instance, the Tea floor. I was greeted by a friendly staff who showed me briefly around and then handed me a menu.

Let’s have a look at the tea menu. My aim was to order the Golden Sky Black Tea Latte but unfortunately, it was sold out. I was about to cry as I saw it online and it looked awesome! So instead I ordered a Citrus Lavender Sage tea. There is also a nice selection of cakes here to complement your tea. Remember my mum ordered a coffee downstairs so we were still waiting for that. I was given a buzzer and once it’s ready, I can go back to get it. Note that the buzzer actually tells you which level to pick up your beverage as there are multiple levels so they don't want you to get confused.

As I was waiting, I walked around the floor and saw the tea you can purchase to take home. If you are wanting some new tea mugs or tea pots, this is also the place to consider getting some fancy glassware to take home. The price is on the high end but they are all Starbucks exclusive.

Our tea and coffee are finally ready. Here it is! For each drink, you will be provided with a card to remind you what you have ordered and explaining how it was made, the ingredients, where it came from etc. The tray it comes out in is a special marked tray just for the Tokyo Roastery Everything was beautifully presented it really makes you want to take a few more photos before enjoying your meal.
