Collab Callout! [Alien Love] [NSFW]

Hey @juliakponsford - I thought your Strawberry Dreams Post was great. I've also enjoyed your self-portraits.

I came up with these three panels about 2.5 years ago. -- I think they're pretty cool. I haven't done a single thing with these and I think you could make it work out if you were into it. You're into aliens, and artistic vaginas, and redheads -- apparently I am as well.

I'd be curious to see what you can do with them, and if you're able to expand them at all. I think an ambitious goal for this one might be "short story length".

Maybe we can play collaborative art tennis, and build up a small comic project together, and then split a multi-platformed crowdfunding effort.

Multi-Media. Photo Collage with Digital Manip / painting is cool. No Rules. No clear story yet.

Maybe if this works out, we can do a few episodes, and then graphic novel it?

I've actually got another project that I was going to dump on you here -- and just give you until June to work something out, but I didn't think you'd trust me enough to just dive into a longer term, higher responsibility project.

Ideally if we were to do anything serious, you would have between now and June to do what you wanted to expand on an idea [photo-collage / manip / painting / storyboard], and then I would have some time after June to paint over it for a month or two -- and the final would be some kind of mixed media erotic graphic novel project.

If you'd rather do that, I think my Liberty | Death story would be better since it's about 30+ pages of material and this Alien Love bit, are just some scraps of mine from a couple of years ago, that I just thought were nice.

Also, I think the financial rewards would be more immediately accessible for Liberty | Death, and Also, I like the idea of just handing something off to you for the next 5 months, and then getting it back, painting on it, and then launching a graphic novel project together.

The options [if you're interested] are basically Episodic Alien Love Comic, or Liberty | Death Graphic Novel Project.

Either way, I won't be able to contribute until after June, but then I can make it my primary focus, so it would be cool to have your collaborative contributions before then, if you're interested.

So, if you're into it, your options are -- more like [mostly fresh start with a long runway and lowish pressure] [Alien Love] -- Think Episode One of a Serialized Graphic Novel.

or,

A reasonable amount of pressure -- but also broad strokes freedom for a few months // enough of a commitment to where you could have second thoughts. [Liberty | Death]

I realize that while collaborating without prior relationship -- you ought not dive into long term proposals right away, but I'm kind of a busy guy, and I've discovered that the financial return on low end / low risk projects is not really worth much -- under 1k -- and that I need to focus on one project at a time in order to do things well.

Whereas projects that are full length erotic graphic novels with print options, have the potential to pull in more substantial sums.

Maybe you've got room on your plate for a long term collab experiment, and maybe we can try to launch something interesting by the beginning of Fall 2020.
