Hello Splinterlands family ....

1 day and 17 hours left (while writing this blog) is remaining for another season to end. A huge change was brought to @Splinterlands in terms of reward system, check here to get to know more. I hope this changes will bring the balance in rewards or whatever the team is expecting it to be.

Apart from that, another week is here for the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge arranged by splinterlands. This week it is about SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN in action in a battle. let me share my battle with all of you.

Basically I got into this card as soon as it got released. But frankly speaking I do not get into invest in reward cards that much. Basically for that I probably have not been upto this card lately. But honestly speaking the abilities of it is quite epic. The Double Strike & Sneak comes really in handy. While I am trying to get it to level 5 to unlock the Poison ability. Have seen it in action, along with other cards working on it as well atm.

Battle

The rule-set for the match was WEAK MAGIC : Magic attack hits Armour before reducing health.

Yep, first of all I would like to say, it was a disastrous match for me. Watch the battle and this is what happens when you meet high level cards opponent in the game. Most of strategies went out in vain in front of the additional abilities of the opponent's cards. Shuuuuu.....

Why select this line-up ?

I was probably thinking little in a relax mood. But the opponent came out prepared and it sure was frankly a nice battle to witness even in the loosing end as well.

Lord Arianthus

One of the reason was I was anticipating `Melee Attacks` monsters to be used much more then `Ranged`/ `Magic` monsters in this game. But the opponent got me there. Since the Melee attack monsters got a handful on this on this battle of mine.

Prismatic Energy

Well another mislead on thinking of about opponent's strategy. The reflect and and void could have come in handy that much in terms of repelling magic attacks. Even after that the `Silence` ability of the opponent got me in terms of reducing magic attack thus reducing it's magic ability as well..

Divine Healer

Tank healer, as it would be much needed in games like this. The heal in addition of the magic attack does seems a nice combinations indeed.

Silvershield Assassin

Unfortunately the way I was thinking was not working at all in this game. The sneak and double strike did not came in handy at all. The reduce of melee attack rigged me apart lol. But the addition of poison would have done some damage to the opponent. So badly needed card atm for me.

Peacebringer

Since the rule-set of this match peacebringer looked like a decent match. The additional 3 Ranged attack could have been a nice combination as well. Apart from that the placing of the card was decent as well.

Air Elemental

Since the ability of it makes it reliable to take it into this match. With ranged attack of three and evading both mele & ranged makes it quite decent in the play. In addition to the speed of it the thought in my mind was, it might help in dodging some sneak attacks as well.

Well , honestly speaking the more higher rank matches you play the more abilities of monsters opens for yourself. So taking it slowly for now and as it seems the learning curve is just starting for me as we speak . Even though I lost the match but there were many more things that opened up for me and that is why watching the battles are really an important stage to get to know about monsters abilities even more .

It was more like a revenge Match

We are standing at a neutral ground as it seems. So the next match shall decide the winner JK ;)

So, this concludes today's blog of sharing a battle with SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN and it is quite nice to write few words regarding the battles and sharing them with all of you makes it even better ! Thanks @splinterlands for arranging contest like this one. Just a suggestion (Thinking out loud) probably add another challenge for a week of which battle you did not like and why ? or sth similar to it ;)
