I hope you agree with me, that different kinds of love are possible: love for the food or love to the beer, or simply love for the fishing (or seafood). Love for the sea / ocean is also possible... and even a very probable thing. So, this week prompt is 'Love', and I choose to share the pics I took last November at the children art festival 'All paints of the childhood'.
A necessary legend to tell: this piece of art is a household mitten, painted as a gift by the children for their mothers. There was a special 'master-class', where boys and girls (from a very little ones to 10-12 y.o.) were suggested a blank ready-made mittens to cover with art. Also, they were provided with some examples what to do... 'cat motives' and 'eyes' became the most usual and widely used ones. And this heart, a symbol of love, came out very easy and so naturally! I was fascinated to observe the painting process all the way thru. As a parent myself, I see how innocent the children are, they say what they feel and what they think. So this hear is fore real, very solid sign of love created for her mother.

Those mittens are awesome. What a fantastic idea.
One of my favourite gifts was a homemade card that mis-spelled "Father" and said, instead, "Happy Farters Day." I laugh every time I see it.
Another of my favourite is a hand-written letter my oldest son wrote me one year. It was very short, but was written after we finally helped him navigate through a few turbulent years of ADHD and serious depression, and he thanked me for never giving up on him. I choke up about every time.

those little scrubby papers are precious! I am keeping a lot of them. one is a little drawing my baby did at 3-5 years: a schematic (!) picture illustrating 2 positions: baby is angry when papa is sitting behind a PC, and baby is happy when papa is reading a book to her..
Aw, that's the sweetest thing! I love that! Obviously there should be less computer time. (I've got the same issue)
What a nice idea - every time the mothers and fathers cook they can see how much their children love them 😊
