Was It Just A Coincidence? (A True Story)

If something happens once, you can say it's an anomaly. Twice, and it can be dismissed as coincidence. But, when something happens three or more times, it's time to take notice. With this in mind, I'd like to share with you the time I telepathically connected to my friend's pug. Or was it just a coincidence? Or an anomaly? Let me share my experience and you can decide for yourself.

Though mathematically possible, I personally don't believe in coincidences. My life's experience has taught me otherwise. I also don't go around looking for them either. Another thing life has taught me is that true psychic occurrences aren't premeditated. They happen spontaneously - often when the paranormal is the last thing on your mind.

I still can't say why I even attempted to connect with this dog. Only that, as the pug sat there panting next to me, the idea just popped into my head. Telepathy is strong in the animal kingdom. And I've always believed humans can connect, in such a way, to the natural world. Here's my story.

It was a warm summer afternoon. My friend and I were sitting on his couch watching television. Directly behind us, an air conditioner rained cooled air over our backs from it's perch in the window. His pet pug, Winston, lay panting between us despite it's best efforts.

I remember thinking it strange to see the dog panting like that as I had never seen him do it that heavily before. Plus he was sitting in front of the air conditioner. I felt bad for the little guy. No amount of my petting seemed to help. Suddenly, an idea came to me.

In my mind, I conjured up an image of Winston standing outside in a snow storm. I made it as real as possible. Glistening snow banks. Snow falling at an angel due to a biting wind. And little Winston, standing in the middle of it all wagging his tail and looking around. It was as if I was standing next to him, filming the scene. Satisfied with my creation, I projected it to the panting pug.

I'll try to describe it as best as I can. At this point, I should point out, my friend had no idea any of this was going on. Holding the scene in my head, I cried out in my heart to ease this dog's discomfort. I started to feel some sort of connection to Winston. Wouldn't you know it, within a couple of seconds, he stopped panting.

Huh, I thought. That's interesting. I held the image for a couple more seconds and then took it away. Almost immediately, Winston started panting again.

Okay. Let's try this again. The image easily popped back into my head. Once again, I sent it to Winston. Once again, he stopped panting. This time, I held the connection for 10-15 seconds. When I pulled it back, sure enough, he started to pant.

I couldn't stop my mouth from forming a grin. I mean, whatever was happening, it was pretty freaking cool! I did this a total of five times. And, every time, Winston reacted the same.

Well, that's my experience. What do you think? The probability of that being a coincidence must be astoundingly low. All these years later, and I still haven't told my friend about it. You never really know how people are going to react to something like that.

I believe we have yet to scratch the surface of the power in our brains.😎

Agree 100%. I should practice more.

I was always convinced that my brother could communicate with our dog, so you never know;) Have you ever tried it with humans?

Haven't tried it with a human. Yet. 😃
