Annoying yes but some of the oldest users are some of the worst people here. Due to building up a lot of stake over the past few years they think that they can do what they like. Ignore it and keep doing what your doing.
Over time a lot of these larger accounts power down and with a greater distribution of STEEM the voting is going to be a lot more balanced.

That is exactly right! In fact, some of the biggest abusers of posting porn without the usual click warnings, does not come from newbies whom we could expect not to know better, but rather come from long-time members with high reputation ratings who think they own Steemit, and can do whatever they like with no one to stop them. Another reason why Steemit will likely not survive long term!
