My 2020: Just a normal day: Just a normal Sunday? A contest by @anomadsoul

Dear diary,

It must have been a normal Sunday, a relaxing and boring one. A Sunday to stay at home watching movies on Netflix, a subscription that was given to me by an angel who contributes to my leisure.

This Sunday was going to have just a twist, a good one! I was going to participate in a new program from @RadioSteemit: "Música y Más (Music and more)". I had practiced the songs on my guitar and prepared the karaoke so everything had to be normal.

I woke up around 8:00 a.m. and I turned on my phone and then I realized this was not going to be a normal Sunday: I did not have an internet connection! I took a deep breath and I told myself:Everything is going to be all right (even though I was a little worried).

I am happier with a full stomach, so I went to prepare breakfast. Generally, Arepas cannot be missing in a Venezuelan breakfast. I like to add different ingredients like carrot, oat, beet among others. I also made an omelet to which I added onion, peppers and "aji dulce". I like to include colors in my food.

Tick, tock.

10:30 a.m. The hours passed and I still didn't have an internet connection. The day before a friend from the choir where I used to sing invited me to her house, the meeting would start at 2:00 p.m. As I already had the commitment of the interview and the concert with Radio Steemit, I thought to go after 5:00 p.m. / 5:30 p.m. once the program was over.

I explained to my friend that I had a virtual event and could go to our meeting after I finished with that interview/concert. I also told her that my internet was showing some flaws. She asked me if this virtual event could not be done from her home.

How could I not think of that before? So I accepted her help.

Then with a lot of peace in my heart, I began to prepare lunch. It is quite a normal eating "plátano" (plantain) in Venezuela to accompany our lunches, we usually eat it fried, but this time I baked it (with a pinch of sugar, cinnamon, and ginger). I also made a meatloaf in a pan and rice with vegetables. Have I told you that I love the colors in my food? Yes! (hahaha).

After lunch, I started packing my microphone and took my guitar to go to my friend's house, I asked her to please download the discord to her computer. Once I came to her house I arranged everything to be ready for the interview. Some minutes later other friends came over, we started to share some songs while waiting for the program to begin.

What an honor to be the first singer in the program, it was very nice to share with everyone present. It was a great interview, thanks @avellana and @drakernoise for making me feel at home. After the interview, I started singing. It was the first time I had to talk before singing. This was a great experience!

I ended the show singing with my friends, we made a little mistake, but we had a lot of fun (next time we promise to practice more lol)

Back to the meeting with my friends.

I continued with my friends singing and enjoying, music is in my day to day, both in normal days and those that out to be a challenge, unexpected of life where a helping hand saves your day.
