We should appreciate many things, and love the people being included, and use our mind as an open mind. And the manor house in Rosendal is located by the Hardangerfjord, and we should love the people being with us there to all times, and the people being organizing such tours to this barony. And there are many people being here, also professor George John from the USA, and we should use our time there to talk and chat about small and large issues with the people being there. But we need competence in fluent English to talk in long times with the professors.

Professor Torger Reve and professor George John have been at the University of Minnesota. And when professor George John visited Bergen and SNF, he talked with professor Torger Reve the whole night, and this was probably about everything, also about the sciences. And we should make research reports with as few mistakes as possible, and the better we are mastering English, and the more friends we have talking English, the better we are ourselves in thinking, talking and writing English. And we should have focus on foreign languages in schools from the very start, and the more languages we are learning, and the better quality we can give them, the better the situation is for ourselves.

So, we should follow the procedures and the regimes in the business schools, also at NHH in Bergen. And love being engaged with freedom, literature and new insight. And «Bergen in a nutshell» and everything you can perceive there, is there to help and support people and for giving service. The barony in Rosendal was finished after a building period in 1665, and we know today that it is the University of Oslo (www.uio.no) that owns this place. And the reason why this barony is popular for many people. The barony in Rosendal was a barony in the current community called for Kvinnherad, and it is located in Hordaland. The barony was Norway’s only one and established in 1678 of king Christian V of Denmark-Norway. The castle itself was completed in 1665, and today is it used as a living museum with guided tours, concerts, lectures, theater, art exhibitions, accommodation and dining. And there is a famous rose garden in the foreground of the barony!

The barony in Rosendal is just as popular as the three school ships in Norway, and these are Soerlandet, Christian Radich and Statsraad Lehmkuhl, and we should be positive to the things that one should love and admire, and there are many ways to take a sailboat, and we should encourage each other to do many things, and to appreciate the organizations we have been within, and where we can be. And we should forget doing stupid and boring things too often, and therefore we should be the best version of ourselves.

In 1658 then Norway’s richest heir Karen Mowat married with Ludvig Rosenkrantz, a proud but poor Danish nobleman. Ass a wedding gift they received the farm “Hatteberg” in Kvinnherad (the community), and there they built their castle, and this castle was finished and used the first time from 1665. Even though the castle and the estate were too small to get the status as barony, Rosenkrantz got his title in 1678 with one condition: Only his sons were to inherit the title. As three of the four sons of Ludvig Rosenkrantz died in war, only the youngest, Aksel Rosenkrantz, got Rosendal as heritage. His two children died early, and the estate was giving to the king.

Baron is a noble title, and it is the lowest noble title. And with the word barony one is thinking about a county with high rank. And always the castle in Rosendal was finished in 1665, it was a barony in 1678 established by king Christian V. And king Christian V has an own law from 1687 in Norway.
