Happy Mothers Day!
It is the 22nd March 2020, and today, Mothers Day is celebrated in the UK.
My mother is currently obeying the lockdown in Spain on the east coast of Mallorca where I'm pretty sure the sun is out and it's a rather pleasant spring morning. I'll get to confirm this in an hour or so when she switches the iPad on - as long at the passcode has not slipped from memory :D
On any other given Sunday, I'm sure mum would be sitting in this seat, or one very close at some point today, down at the local bar.
Here's a photo of two important things in her life - I'm pretty confident of the order as well :P
And finally, one of my daughter (sporting Grandma's favourite coloured ear-muffs) and mum, with a fine shot of the 'lucky' front teeth gap :D

Here in the US, we celebrate it in May. Hopefully we'll be allowed to travel again soon, but I'm not holding my breath... this "flattening the curve" strategy will likely keep us all close to home for 60-90 days...

It does look lovely outside today, but you know the rules! I do have a small balcony and may take a short walk to the canal (observing 2/3 metres of space and not touching anything) in an hour or so to catch a few rays.
Yeah. I think it's important to get out and about when we can. The prom was busy yesterday but it's very wide so plenty of space for everyone to keep their distance. Good for people not to feel isolated when isolating I think. 😁

It wasn't so busy on Friday when I was actually there. The countryside it is then. Or a beach outside of the city perhaps . . .
