Knowing about the steem keys and their functions.

Question 1 Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes, i have retrieved all the keys of steemit.i kept them in my notepad(phone) written on paper & my brother has them in his own phone.Incase if i still forgot the password i can still retrieve them with the master key,this is the most important key of all.As this is used to retrieve all other passwords of steemit incase you forgot them. Master key is the key that you were provided when you signed up for steemit.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes I know all key functions and as well as restrictions. Here is how are different keys used in different scenarios.

Posting key - It is used to vote or resteem other posts,used to publish the created post.Most commonly used key on day to day basis.For posting our content in the form of blogs or community posts i.e like achievement blogs and is also used for commenting.

Active key - It is mainly used for updating the profile .Other functions are in fund transfer and power up,power down and other functions.I don’t know much about this key but i will get to know about it ASAP

Owner key -As the name suggests owner this is used to verify that you are the owner. As long as you have this key, you are owner and you can recover your compromised account. You can change any key of your account. Don't compromise your keys otherwise you will have to compromise with your compromised account.

Memo key - While making fund transfer this key is needed to decode the memos and it has both public and private keys

How do you plan to keep your master password?

I have saved my master password online in icloud drive,notepad and draft of my mail,and on paper.

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes,i know you can do any fund transfer or withdrawals in the wallet section.

go to wallet
then head to steem dollar
click on transfer
write his id name
write the amount
enter public memo key
press next
and it is done

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

go to wallet
find the steem option
click on the steem option
now click power up
enter the desired amount
and you are done,just need to enter memo key.
