Recently i successfully completed achievement 5 task 4 so i am going to complete achievement 6 which is about curation and community.
I will try my best to explain it well so new users can easily understand.

How Curation And Voting Works In Steemit ?

Steemit is working through proper and complete reward system where u get reward for your creative work.
Countless user on steemit are posting, comment and voting every second. Every creative and good contect apriciated here and as a reward people upvote your post.
After recieving upvote you get your reward as given below.
If a user upvote your post with 1$ you will get 50% while other 50% will go back to that person.
Upvote reward depends upon steem power, More steem power means more powerful vote and high reward.
Steemit is platform for content creaters like article writting and photography and many more so if you post good content here people will like it and will upvote your post and you will earn rewards.
If you content is original and unique you will get more rewards.

What Is Voting Power ?

Every user on steemit have voting power which means he is allowed to vote in limited value.
If a user vote on someones post his voting power will decrease and will keep decreasing with every vote and it will be echarged in 1 day.

What Is Voting mana ?

It is value and strength of you vote, when you have 500 steem power in your steemit account and you click to vote on a post you will see a percentage bar so you can vote with your own choice, means how much you want to vote eg 20%, 50% , 100% .

What Happen If You vote on a post within 5 minutes of posting ?

Curator post will get 100% reward if his/her post get upvote within 5 minutes of posting. See detail below.

If a post get upvote after 5 minutes , 100% curator reward will go to post curator.

√ If a post get upvote either in 5 minutes or after 100% reward will go to curator.

√ If a post get upvote in 4 minutes 80% reward go to curator and 20% will remain in reward pool.

√ If a post get upvote in 3 minutes 60% reward will go to curator and 40% will remain rward pool.

√ If a post get upvote in 2 minutes 40% reward will go to curator and 60% will remain in reward pool.

√ If a post get upvote in 1 minute 20% reward will go to curator and 80% will remain in reward pool.
