With @yohan2on lectures and rundown on Steemscan, I have been able to understand the steemscan works.

Steemscan was developed and created by @futureshock and @roadofrich. This software application was created to ensure steem users has an easy and less expensive transaction.

WHAT IS STEEMSCAN:

Steemscan is an exchange platform that is used for trading and exchanging Steem with/for other Cryptocurrency. Like most Decentralized network and blockchain, it does not require lots of documents to set up an account. It's users always have a stress-free money transfer without any hitches.

Features of Steemscan

The interface has this following features
Menu which consists of different options and services to render to you.
A search button incase you are looking for something.
Dapps
Convert where you can trade your Steem into the given coins which is currently USDT, BTC and TRX.

CONVERT/EXCHANGE

To exchange and convert Steem for other Cryptocurrency.

On the interface, click on menu.
On the menu, search for Quick Convert.
Input the steem amount that you want to Convert.
Choose a currency you are converting to.
NB There are only three Cryptocurrency you can exchange to (USDT, BTC and TRX)
Put in the withdrawal address, i.e; the address/wallet you are sending the steem to.
Create order.
Put in your active key and confirm the transaction.

WITNESSES

You can locate active witnesses on this homepage. Their names and Account, and their ranks. Steemscan makes it easier for you to vote for any Witness if you wish.

DAPPS

Dapps are known as Decentralized Application, these are software applications that work in a Decentralized blockchain. When you go to steemscan, the Dapps that you I'll find includes Steemyy, Steemworld, Dtube, TravelFeed andany others.
