Hi dear lovers of steemit and welcome to my achievement 2.Today i will be talking about the basic security on steemit,and it is a great pleasure to talk about it.

Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit.

Yes i have retrieved all my keys on steemit and i did that when i signed up on steemit.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes i know thier key functions and restrictions and they are;

Master key:The master key is a very important key because when the key is lost it can not be brought back.it can be used to form other password.

Posting key :The posting key is used for posting as the name rymes,it can also be used for voting people ,and it is used for resteeming and commenting on peoples post.And when i am done with my account i should log out to avoid scammers from coming into my account.

Active key :It is used for transfering steem ,changing sbd to steem,and finally it is used for powering up.

Memo key:It is used for private chatting, it is also used to encrypt and decrypt messages sent and received through my account.

How do you plan to keep your master password.

I have many offline copies of my master key and i keep where i can easily locate it to aviod thieves.

Do you know how to transfer your steem to another account.

Yes i do.
I simply have to go to my wallet

Then click transfer

Then i will simply write down the user name i want to transfer to and the amount,and that is how to send steem to another person

Do you know how to power up your steem

Yes I will simply go to my wallet

Then i will click power up.

Then i will type the amount of steem i want to power up,and that is how to power up steem.

That is all about basic security on steemit.
I am greatful to to the whole new commers community.
