Hello exclusive family,
It's my greatest pleasure working with you guys and also writing my achievement 2 task today. I'm about writing my achievement 2 which is basically on security in steem, keys and permission.
We all need to know the uses of some important keys which are private posting keys, memo keys, owner keys, active keys etc, and also on how to secure it from unauthorized access.
I will start by defining "Security" for clarity....

SECURITY

Security is also the act of protecting one's goods, company, organization against threats such as evil attacks, terrorist or crime. We all need to be security wise when it comes to business otherwise we will lose for good. Steemit has a very tight security measure that makes unauthorized users unable to login to someone's account.

BASIC SECURITY IN STEEMIT

Security in steem is more of security measures taken by platform to and control the privacy of its members. There are five permission keys are; Active key, Master key, Owner key, Memo key and Posting key.

• Posting key: is used for social networking functions such as commenting, publishing posts, editing, voting post, following, muting account upvoting and downvoting

• Master key: controls all keys in steemit like posting, active key etc, and if lost, your account can't be recovered. It should be saved in a secured place.

• Memo key: is used to encrypt and decrypting messages that are sent through the blockchain.

• Owner key: used for recovering your account.It is the most important key. It is also used to change other keys.

• Active key: is used for wallet related activities and for redeeming rewards or tokens. Powering up and down, creating a new user, profile changes, SBD conversion
  If you lose this key, you lose your tokens and if unauthorized users access your active key, they can withdraw you tokens.

QUESTIONS

Have you retrieved and saved your keys?

N/b: In steemit, you cannot delete an account or recover it. If paradventure you lose your master password, you cannot recover the account since your master password controls your entire account. I've saved mine well.

• Do you know the functions of these keys?

Yes I know and that's why I'm explaining them above.

• Do you know how to transfer your steem tokens to another steem user?

Yes.

Step1: To go to transfer, you enter wallet

Step 2: Tap on the drop-down arrow near your steem balance and choose transfer.

Step 3: Input the recipients username, the amount and click next

Step 4: Confirm the transfer information and click OK to sign with your active key.

• Do you know how to power up steem?
  To power up steem, first visit your steem wallet

Then you click the drop down arrow close to your steem balance and click power up

Then you enter the amount you wish to power up and click power up
