Achievement 2 by @vanessageorge: Basic Security on Steem

…In my dream, I was at home like any other afternoon and suddenly I had this desire to eat something sweet… like any other afternoon. I immediately thought about having one of my favorite desserts, a Baby Dynamite. Just needed to get in my car, go to the mall, into the Chocomelt store, ask for a Baby Dynamite and eat it ALL BY MYSELF.

I went to the storage room to get my car key, I opened the door and, to my surprise, I found a Hippo where the keys should have been. It was a real Hippo but the size of a bowl and on its belly was written “Master Password”. It was eating something. It opened its mouth wide open and I could see multiple keys. I began retrieving them, hoping one would be my car key.

The first key was the Posting key. I knew I couldn’t use this key to turn my car on. This key is to log in on Steemit and perform social actions. The second key was the Memo key. Again not of use right now as this key is to decrypt private transfer memos. The third key was the Active key. It had the shape of a car key but I knew that the active key was for monetary and wallet-related actions.

I saw inside the Hippo’s mouth and no keys were left. Abruptly, all the keys in my hand merge into one big heavy key, the Owner key. I had to store this key in a safe place as it could be used to reset all my other keys. The Hippo disappear and in its place was a handwritten note with the Master Password on it. I took the note and the Owner key and put them in the safe deposit box. Where none can find them, except for myself.

I was still looking for my car key, I really wanted that dessert. I touch my right pocket and I could feel that the car key was there. It had been there all the time.

I went to the garage, got into my Batmobile, and headed to the mall. The mall was a teeny tiny house with a teeny tiny door, and inside of it, the whole universe. To get inside, the mall management was charging 1 STEEM. I reach for my wallet, opened it, and began to transfer the 1 Steem to the mall user account @teenytinymall. I clicked on the drop-down box and chose TRANSFER. My account information was already there, I just had to put in the mall user and the amount to make the transfer.

Finally, I was inside the mall. But as I said, the whole universe was inside of it. Luckily, I just needed to think about the place I wanted to go, and automatically would appear before my eyes. And there it was, at last, Chocomelt.

No need to panic, I reached for my wallet again, clicked on the drop-down box, and chose POWER UP. I wanted to power up all of my liquid steem so I just clicked the balance in bleu and pressed the power up button. After a couple of seconds, it showed my new steem power and I could finally order my much-desired dessert, Baby Dynamite! Two layers of brownie with vanilla ice cream in the middle and peanut butter caramel ice cake on top. Sever with hot milk chocolate sauce.
