Hi everyone,i hope you are all doing well.
After successfully completing my achievement 1,2,3.
I proceed by sharing my little knowledge about applying markdown which is the sub-topic for achievement 4....
Going through @cryptokannon guidance post i was able to comeup with this brief knowledge of mine about applying markdown or how to use different types of markdown ..
MARKDOWN GUIDE:
I want to show how to appy markdowns when posting.
WHAT IS MARKDOWN?
Markdown is a light weight markup language that you can use to add to add formatting element to plaintext documents, created by JOHN GRUBEER IN 2004.
Markdown is now one of the world's most popular mark up language.
EXAMPLE:
(1).To donate a heading, you add a number sign (#) before it.
i.e
Newcomers' community
How much is steem
welcome to steemit
(2). To make a phrase bold, you add two asterisks (**) before and after it.
i.e
Welcome to steemit
How much is steem
Newcomers' community
(3).To write in italics, ard one asterisk before and after the phrase.
i.e
welcome to steemit

(4). How to create a table
You can simply create a table by using the example below..

(5).how to create numbered list
To create numbered list kindly type number point with a space and the number followed by a full stop at the end..
Example
Steemit. * Steemit.

(6).how to create links..
Links on steemit of different type
Username and citation links..
You can simply use @ symbol to create a link on username..
With citation you can simply use  to make it look smaller and nice.

(7).How to create paragraph
This is an important aspect of markdown,simply hit enter/return twice and it will create paragraph( depending on how you prefer to format)
ADVANTAGES OF MARKDOWN
-Markdown is easy to read and write.
-Markdown reduces distraction.
-It's intentionally simple.
-Convert plain text into HTML
-It doesn't break.
CONCLUSION.
It is important to used markdowns in our post.
