in Newcomers' Community2 years ago

Hello all friends, how are you today, I hope you will be fine, and hopefully your health will always match our expectations of course.

Thank you very much in advance for verification in achievement 2, and on this occasion, I will continue for achievement 3. And for the title of the achievement this time, which is about content ethics that must be done and what should not be done when writing content, ideas and materials in posts on steemit, this will make us behave as plagiarism, this is absolutely not allowed.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

We certainly know the meaning of stealing, because this is closely related to the act of plagiarism, namely by taking other people's work to present it as personal property, while for a job this is only for self-interest to receive credit, gifts and other things.
The work of copying and taking from other people's property without a correct and correct reference, then this is called an act of plagiarism

In this case, we must have an idea about what is called an act of plagiarism, when someone acts to do plagiarism that is called plagiarism. In other words, plagiarism is an act or work that is dishonest in learning and justice, this is still not justified because it will harm others.

Many countries for this act of plagiarism have sanctions for perpetrators of plagiarism such as fines, and even imprisonment. So, of course, we will ask whether we cannot quote other people's works, the answer is yes, but the condition is that we must include the source of what we have quoted.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM
For the types and forms of plagiarism, of course, there are many things that we need to know, so we will definitely see people who accidentally and even deliberately do plagiarism, so here I will discuss the five types and forms of plagiarism.

1.Plagiarisme Global
Taking all other people's work as a whole and making it their own, this is an act that can be categorized as global plagiarism, because all of these works that we take and present as our own work is what is called global plagiarism.

2.Verbatim Plagiarism:
This is an act of plagiarism with a copy and paste system as one's own work, this action is an act of copying directly from another work so that it will become your own even if only a few changes are changed.

3.Paraphrasing Plagiarism:
This is a form and act of plagiarism by writing languidly on the text and also replacing it with other words, that is what is called plagiarism as a statement that it is one's own.

4.Patchwork Plagiarism:
A combination of texts taken from several ideas from different sources, so that they will make them as their own ideas, and even new with the action of bringing together texts from different sources.

5.Self Plagiarism:
Rewriting a text that has been written, and even once making the text very well known and praised, then presented again as a text that has a new impression.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PLAGIARIZE
Committing theft is of course not a good thing and is very embarrassing, because this action will have penalties and fines for the perpetrators of plagiarism, because this is considered a very large offense,
So the impression of this action, of course, is due to a lack of knowledge, and so have the idea of copying and even stealing from the results and works of others.

HOW TO AVOID Plagiarism
Actually we must know in order to avoid this act of plagiarism, and of course when we use other people's work, we must be able to quote the source correctly, and give credit to the owner of the work.
Make your own work in the most creative way we can so that we can become a writer who can truly express his or her own ideas and is free from plagiarism.
We can also check for plagiarism that we may accidentally do by checking our own work.

Those are some things that I can publish today, and hopefully we all will not do things that are in the form of acts as plagiarists, and continue to strive to produce our own works.

NOTES . I have read a lot of things about steemit etiquette and I have also understood in the steemit community, and then I will continue to try from things that are violations, and will do my best.

Hi @ustazkarim I hope you are well, after reviewing your achievement 3 i must inform you that this does not meet the requirements established for validation according to the Newcomers' Community.

Do not forget at the end of the post to put the sentence at the end:

"I have read and understood the steemit etiquette on steemit community and also will do my very best to embrace them."

“You must use one of the citation examples described in the explanation of achievement 3, For this you must make a post of no less than 200 words of your authorship about what plagiarism is and additionally include the aforementioned examples (they will not be counted within 200 words)”.

“All the content used that is not 100% of your authorship must be cited according to what is described in the protocol of achievement 3”.

Use the citations to identify the content that is not of your authorship, remember that the other part of the post must be of your authorship and not less than 200 words.

Make the corrections and I will come back to verify your achievement

Greetings
