Source:canvas

Copying someone's work of articles without any change or without creating your own word is well known as Plagiarism. It's greatly discouraged when writing be it for academic purposes or for pleasure writing and for other type also.

Most of the articles we come across have original author(s), what is expected of us is to go through it, pick some points from it, add our idea and write our own article in your own word. Hence, its very important we cite the original source of the information including the source of picture used. In that case probabelly all the word and the picture of someone article is very common and match that person who copying.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

There are different types of plagiarism and we will discuss. They are:

  • Direct Plagiarism
  • Mosaic Plagiarism
  • Accidental plagiarism
  • Self-plagiarism
  • Paraphrasing plagiarism

DIRECT PLAGIARISM

About Direct plagiarism It is an intentional and unethical form of stealing contents. As the name suggests, the writing is stolen word to word and pasted into the new page. The author tries to pass off the content as their own.

MOSAIC PLAGIARISM

Mosaic is a form of plagiarism that easily discusses the work of the original author without the right source one. this one is very difficult to catch because in this case plagiarism is done very intelligentally. Everything is organized by mixing and stealing. So this type of plagiarism is very difficult to find. But nothing is impossible our expert will try to find with his hard work.

ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM

In this type of plagrism plagiarist identifies with a particular phrase or content and doesn't source is properly by maybe misplacing the correct source with the wrong one or sometime forget to mention the source location.
Whatever the intention might be, accidental Plagiarism comes with its own consequences and actions it may be called as human error also.

SELF PLAGIARISM

In this type of plagiarism the user can copy our previous post and post it with a new one . so it will be called as the Self Plagiarism.

PARAPHRASING PLAGIARISM

One of the most common type of plagiarism. It is similar to the mosaic plagiarism mentioned above. However, the difference is that the copied work is not mixed with new concepts and research.

Plagiarism Tools

I will check on google and find some plagiarism tools to be on the safe side, it's always good to check using some verified plagiarism tools to check for the authenticity of a work. I shared some of the websites where we use this tool to check our post.

These tools are as follows:

CONCLUSION

I think Plagiarism is an act which is unethical and punishable by law. Instead of plagrism another persons work, it is best we come up with our own individual ideas and thus improves our creativity.
