Achievement 2 by @tonyvan - Task : Basic Security on Steem

Hello stemian, In this time I will post achivement 2 about Basic Security on Steem while waiting for achivement 1 verified. As with this achievemnt 2 task, I will explain a little about steemit security key. After signing up for a steemit, you will receive several keys sent by Steemit in the form of a pdf file that is used at login. The keys are very confidential so it must be stored properly so as not to be known by other users and not to be lost, because if you lose it you will never get your account again.

As you see, there are 5 keys that you received from steemit. Each function of the key is as follows :

1. Posting Key
Steemit is a social media platform like Facebook, you can write something, comment, etc. And to do this activity you must log in using the Posting Key.

2. Active Key
Different with posting keys, Active key is used for transactions in your wallet such as transferring Steem, converting steem, PowerUp or PowerDown STEEM and Vote witness. Active keys also can be used by trusted 3rd parties such as Steemconnect or Wherein App, for certain access needs.

3. Owner Key
Owner key is powerful key type, because it can be used to reset all your other keys. So, according to steemit it recommended to save this key offline.

4. Memo Key
Memo keys are rarely used. Used to decrypt private transfer memos.

5. Master Key
The master key is the primary key, this is the first key you get after registration. This key used when activating your account and also can be used to reset the four previously mentioned keys. Therefore this key is also very secret. So Save it well.

Now you have got your key in steemit. Have you stored it safely?
I save my keys in to hard drive and also at cloud to guard if the my hard drive has problems. And for the most important keys that are recommended to be stored offline, they should be stored in a different place. So make sure you store it safely.

Now let me discuss a little about how to transfer STEEM to another steemit user account and also power up steem.
Do you know how to transfer steem to another user's account? Here's it :

Go to Wallet and make sure login using the Active Key.

At Steem Balances Menu Choose Transfer in the right STEEM item.

Fill the form and then click Next.

Steemit will confirm your transaction and then hit Ok.

Done... Transfer completed

Now that you know how to transfer steem, then Do you know how to Power Up your steem? Here's it :

Go to Wallet and also make sure login using the Active Key.

At Steem Balances Menu Choose Power Up in the right STEEM item.

Fill the form and then click Power Up.

Steemit will confirm your transaction again and then hit Ok.

Done... Power Up Succes
