Nigeria

In this post am going to talk about my country Nigeria.

Geography

Nigeria is an African country in the West part of Africa, and it's known as the giant of Africa. River Niger and Benue are found in Nigeria with another popular landmarks Zuma rock. The population of Nigeria is more than 200 million with 36 state.

Tribes

Nigeria has three major tribes Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa with other tribes with more than 520 languages divided into three major tribes. Igbo and Yoruba are located in the Southern part of Nigeria while Hausa is located in the Northern part of Nigeria.

Religion

In Nigeria, we have two major religions Christianity and Islamic religion. They are practised more based on the location and tribes. Like Igbo and Yoruba which are in the southern part of Nigeria practice Christianity and the Hausa practice Islam which is in the northern part of Nigeria.

From this table you will see traditional religion. This is practice before the colonial masters and still practiced today in these tribes as well as other tribes.

Government.

Nigeria is a capitalist country and its arm of government is divided into three Executive legislation and Judiciary. The country Nigeria has 3 levels of government, Federal, State, and Government. The president of Nigeria is Muhammadu Buhari.
