Achievement 2 @thegreatowusu Task - Basic Security On Steem

Beloved Steemit team and friends. I'm Owusu Samuel, popularly known in steem as @thegreatowusu. Sorry for being away for couple of weeks this was due to my work schedules. Now I am back with full energy to support Ghana Team and the entire Steemit community. Thanks for your support and encouragement.

I am back on my second achievement task and to complete the rest of my achievement tasks.

I am much appreciated with the good tutorial and guidance from @cryptokannon, Steem greets and @oppongk. On this lesson of Achievement Task, I am to know "Basic security on Steem."

Through my Mentor, @oppongk, I have studied how to keep my Steem securities very well. I have come to appreciate that they are so vital to the extent that if I lose them hardly can I get them. Also, if they are not properly kept my accounts can be hacked by others. Now that I have saved them properly, I am secured and protected.

Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

With the help of my Master password, I have retrieved all my passwords.

Question2
Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes, the Master password is used to open the rest of the password which are hidden.

• The posting key is used for posting contents, commenting, and voting.

• The private active key is use for making transactions, powering and transferring steem.

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master password?

• I have kept the Master password at hard copy and soft copy I have installed the keys in my G-mail account .

Question 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

• Yes On the steem wallet I therefore select transfer steem. Write the user I would want to transfer to. I enter ntue amount to be transferred.

Question 5
Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

• Yes, to power up my steem, I get to my steem wallet. In the wallet, I open the option menu of the Steem and select power up. It moves to the next level where it request whether to power up and amount. I therefore enter the amount of steem to be power up. After copying the active key I log in to power up.
