Achievement 4 by @tetsu26 : Applying Markdowns
Introduction
Good day dear friends, today I finally have the opportunity to post my achievement 4 post here in #newcomers community. I will be talking about the experience of Nigerians when the cashless policy in the country was hot. Let's begin.
Cashless policy
In the month of December last year, the use of new naira notes starred trending as the president of Nigeria decided to change few currencies which are, 200, 500 and 1000 naira. Up till today most of us are still wondering why those currencies were changed.
President Muhammadu Buhari also declared that we should stop using the old naira notes after 31st January this year. Alot of people were going to the bank to withdraw the new naira notes but it wasn't yet available in the bank.
Nigerians were going to the bank to withdraw the new naira notes but they weren't having enough of it, business were running down as the only means of payment were through transactions, people were transferring to traders in the market just to purchase foodstuffs, barbers, labourers, pharmacists, caterers and so many others, were also accepting transfer.
Sometimes people don't see alert and they get worried because of that, feeling someone has cheated them. Alot of people were queuing in the bank just to wait to withdraw the few money in the bank, most of them were frustrated, some were naked, angry youths were burning banks here and there. The charge POS operators normally collect were high then. People were starving because they had no cash to purchase what to eat.
After sometime, we started making use of the old 200 naira notes and things became easy a little bit. All the businesses were dull and fruitless, most especially businesses that are not connected to human needs but wants. Things like barbing were dull, I experienced that the day I went to barb my hair in @saintkelvin17's salon where he learns how to barb. Customers weren't there and they barbers were not happy.

I discovered that the only cash people had, was for food and not barbing, we want to eat before getting our hair cut. I had cash that day so I decided to barb my hair because my teachers were disturbing me that it has overgrown.
The only persons that still had their businesses flowing was the drivers, they had a law not to accept transfer but cash because we can't be transferring 100 naira, is small. People struggled to have cash they can use for transport fare, sometimes they end going to their school or place of work late in the name of looking for cash.
The leaders in our country deceived us, they told us to deposit all our old money and we are coming back from money but they are not giving us, lots of money was in people's bank account but they were suffering from poverty.
I will stop here today to avoid a long write up
