What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism is a deceitful act of showing someone else's manual or mental work as your own and this too without giving any credits to the real author. This wrongful activity is severly punished in most of the cases.

According to University of oxford
Plagiarism is presenting someone else's work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition.

There are various kinds of Plagirarism and all are serious infringement of scholastic genuineness. Also, the most widely recognized ones are:

Direct plagiarism

This type of plagiarism is when a person use someone else's work and do not credit the author in any way.

Self plagiarism

happens when an understudy presents their own past work, or blends portions of past works, without consent from all teachers included. For instance, it would be unsatisfactory to consolidate some portion of a research project you wrote in secondary school into a paper doled out in a school course.
