Hello steemit family, I'm here to talk on my Achievement 3 which is Content Etiquette.firstly,what is Etiquette?

Etiquette simply means the customary act of behavior in the society or a particular group.
Who is a content writer?. A content writer is a person who writes to satisfy his audience.A content writer writes relevant articles, journals, stories in a website or any other space that has audience to attract business.
From the above write up we have known what content and Etiquette are,now what is Content Etiquette?They are the rules, regulations and guidelines a content writer should follow to get a good job done. Apart from the rules, regulations and guidelines a content writer ought to obey and follow while writing relevant contents there are other things a content writer must avoid while writing,they are listed below

Plagiarism is the act of taking/copying someone’s written content or work without proper reference to the original owner there by claiming the ownership of such work or written content. For instance, copying a story, journals or article from google or Wikipedia which belongs to someone or a group of researchers for your own work or written content without a proper referencing to the original source . Plagiarism is very common amongst content writer which shouldn't be so. in order to do a good job as a content writer and keep a good reputation inline with the rules, regulations and guidelines of “Content etiquette” we the content writers should our very best to avoid plagiarism and also to fight, condemn and stand against it. A writer can commit plagiarism in different ways
And they are as follows;

• complete plagiarism.
• source-based plagiarism.
• Direct plagiarism.
• Self or auto plagiarism.

• Complete plagiarism

This is the severe and worst form of plagiarism, this is the process whereby a researcher takes a study of the original or manuscript made by another person and submit it in his/her own name.

• source -based plagiarism

This is a form of plagiarism whereby a researcher uses an invalid source or a link that doesn’t exist at all.

• direct plagiarism

In this form of plagiarism an author copies a content of another author word to word without the addition of a quotation mark, thus, passing the information as his or her own.

• self or auto plagiarism

This form of plagiarism is simply called duplication, whereby the author re uses a significant phrase in his or her previously publish article without given credit to it.

in life,when you discover a problem the next important thing is it's solution,here our problem as writers is plagiarism and it's solution is how to avoid it,we can avoid plagiarism as follows;

• Citation of sources

writers should do well to always cite the sources which they copied from.

• Self use of intellectual ability

writers should be able to develop their own ideas without solemnly depending on already published works as it would boast their confidence, besides they were ideas from humans like them.

• Use of quotation when paraphrasing

Every writers should always make use of quotations when re stating a statement already made by another author.
Yes, I have carefully read and understood the steemit etiquette on steemit community and will do all my possible best to practice them.
