It is very crucial that every user of STEEMIT blockchain platform should understand the basic security precaution measures on STEEMIT blockchain platform... It will interest you to know that it is one thing to know/understand and yet another thing to be disciplined enough to apply what you already know for you to actually prove what you know....

With the increase in cyperscammers roaming around the internet space, it is very crucial as a user of STEEMIT blockchain account you should be very cautious about your private account passwords.. Your account is private, valuable and cannot be be retrieved back,if out of your carelessness you misplace your passwords especially your Private Master key/password and Private Owner Key/Password..
We call them Private Keys because it is your privacy and it should be treated as such with a maximum security measures.

PRIVATE POSTING KEY/PASSWORD

Just like the name implies posting key,it is used on your personal account for posting of Contents,upvoting and downvoting, commenting on contents,edit posts,follow or mute other accounts at will..

PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY/PASSWORD

Active key is functionality is very sensitive in your account because is linked to your wallet. It gives permission to your wallet. For every financial transaction in your wallet active key/password grant the permission such as transfer of funds,power up and down transactions,witness voting,profile updates,conversion of steem dollar and placing a market order..

PRIVATE MEMO KEY/PASSWORD

Although memo key is not as sensitive as other keys mentioned above but it plays a vital role in your account.. It is used to send an encrypted message and also used to see any encrypted message sent to you privately..

PRIVATE OWNER KEY/PASSWORD

It is the most sensitive and important key among all the keys/password mentioned above.. It is used to change every other key of your account,even your owner key/ password too. It is recommended that every user should store his or her password in safe preferably offline either in a flash drive or in a printed copy and kept in a very secured place..

NB: it is also used to recover a compromised account..

PRIVATE MASTER KEY/PASSWORD

Just it name implies,the master key is used to derive or generate all other keys including your private owner key..
If a third party website or person lay hold on your master your account with the valuable will be assaulted or peradventure out of your carelessness you misplace both of your master and Owner Key/Password,the bad news is that it can not be retrieved back... You must extremely careful.

NB: Never disclose your Keys to a third party website or someone else..

Store your passwords in printed copy (Jonual),cloud or flash drive and keep in a safe box..

STEPS ON HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT

✍️ Click on your profile picture at the top right corner of your account
✍️ Click on wallet
✍️ At the top right of your wallet page, click on that hand bugger menu.
Then click on sign in

Put your user name and your active key in that place they requested for password

✍️ Then click on the login,then you will be granted access to your wallet
✍️ You will see your account balance displayed in the below picture,
✍️ Click on the steem balance (as displayed on the picture below) a list sheet of different options will be displayed, since you want to transfer from your steem token to account
✍️ Click on the first option on the list "Transfer" See below 👇👇👇

✍️ Afterwards a slot will be displayed
✍️Fill in the receiptant details and also fill in the amount of steem then
✍️Click on the update button

Then the last page
✍️Click on the "ok" button to authenticate your transaction

HOW TO POWER YOUR STEEM

✍️Follow the same procedure with the above picture
✍️ Click on the wall
✍️At the top right of your wallet page, click on that hand bugger menu.
✍️Then click on sign in

✍️Put your user name and your active key in that place they requested for password

✍️ Click on steem balance
Then different option list will display
✍️ This time click on Power up

✍️ The next page will display
✍️ Fill your desired amount then
✍️ Click on Power up button

CONCLUSION

✍️ NEVER LOSE YOUR PASSWORD

✍️ NEVER SHARE YOUR PASSWORD WITH A THIRD PARTY WEBSITE OR ANY BODY. YOUR EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR ACCOUNT IS YOUR PRIVACY.
