The Steemit platform is a platform that rewards members based on original content. There are different communities you can be a part and be able to make post on games, football, foods, pets and also record your daily life (Diary games) . Plagiarism is not taken likely in the steemit platform because people are rewarded based on the originality and authenticity of their post.

Citation

Citation means giving reference in post when the words used are not originally yours. Eg: There are many bible verses if you quote a verse from the Bible it is required that your cite that verse because those words are not yours. It also applies when it comes to writing somebody 's, like words of Philosophers or President's should be cited.

Why do we add source to images on Steemit?

When making a post images are added to better convey an idea to the people interacting with that post, so adding source to copyright images to avoid copyright laws. There also some site where we can access this images for free;
