Hello,a very good evening to everyone on steemit. i am glad to be here once more to perform the next achievement task which is 'CONTENT ETIQUETTE'. The main purpose of this content is to make individuals here on steemit become positive and versatile thinkers and also to be resourceful and making contents from one's own point of view and not from another individual works or findings which generally is prohibited in an organisation without a clear citation of the author of such material or information.
Now before going into the discussion in proper, i will like to define the term 'CONTENT ETIQUETTE'.
WHAT IS CONTENT ETIQUETTE?
Content etiquette can be denote as a laying of emphases which guides someone on how to post ideas, contents, materials and information on steemit.
WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
Plagiarism in a nutshell is the owning, claiming of an information or material that is not yours without the knowledge of the owner of such information or content.
TYPES OF PLAGIARISM
There are different types of plagiarism and i will explain that vividly one after another.
1 - DIRECT PLAGIARISM. This is the situation where by a person copies and paste the entire information in a work as well as the various quotation marks neglecting the acknowledgement of the main source. with than an information is said to be plagiarism.
2 - MOSAIC PLAGIARISM. In this case the source of the work may have been mentioned by the plagiarist but doing this without acknowledging the quoted part promptly and insert all the quotation marks correctly, then it is said to be plagiarism.
3 - SELF PLAGIARISM. This involves students in different schools who copy and paste information from their previously submitted academic work. Here the students directly copy same contents on different works without asking the tutor or teacher involved. this is tagged to be self plagiarism.
4 - ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM. This is a situation of which the phrase or a part of the text of a content is copied from the source material or the act of which the plagiarist does not cite the source in a standardized form. then it is said to be an accidental plagiarism.
WAYS TO AVOID PLAGIARISM.
There are certain ways to avoid plagiarism which i will identify below.
1- Direct citations of contents from the source should be noted.
2- stop receiving applauds and taking credits on contents that is not yours.

In the 1960s Jerome Bruner developed a theory of cognitive growth. His approach (in contrast to Piaget) looked to environmental and experiential factors. Bruner suggested that intellectual ability developed in stages through step-by-step changes in how the mind is used.source
