Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. Under the regulations for examinations, intentional or reckless plagiarism is a disciplinary offence. source
The Merriam Webster dictionary defines the act of plagiarism as; “to steal and pass off ideas or words of another as one’s own”. Simply put, plagiarism is the process of taking other people’s words and/or ideas and pretending that they are your own. source

Content created by oneself can be called an original. When making a quote from such an original, we must respect its owner. He should be reminded of that moment. If we do that, it's good. Such looting can be stopped if content etiquette is followed.

Content etiquette is the ethics that a blog writer should follow when quoting and sharing ideas and pictures from another source. Below are four such rules.

1- In the content we quote, the name of the author should be mentioned in the same way as he used.

2- We must mention the link on the website or blog where we are quoting.

3- The author should be informed about this before making an extract.

4- We should not put our name to something created by someone else.
