Plagiarizing other people's work, or taking part or all of other people's opinions and writing them or reposting them (both images and text) is called plagiarism . Whether it's on the steemit platform or other websites/sites that can be accessed by the general public, plagiarism is prohibited/not allowed if you intentionally don't include the source, why is that...?? Because if you write the opinions of others or take pictures without acknowledgment, it is the same as you do not appreciate work of the person.

In our country, sri lanka plagiarism is strictly regulated in law and will receive sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations.
Below I have included an article about The Plagiarism Policy of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce
University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Srilanka,

According to the Plagiarism Policy of the faculty (2017, p.1-2), the following actions are considered as plagiarism and related academic misconduct:

Submitting someone else’s idea and/or work, partially or fully, by a student as his/her own idea and/or work;

Citing someone else’s idea and/or work, partially or fully, by a student as his/her own idea and/or work in any text produced and/or submitted by that student;

Citing someone else’s idea and/or work, partially or fully, by a student without proper reference to the original idea and/or work in any text produced and/or submitted by that student;

Mixing and/or merging a few ideas and/or works developed by another person/s and/or institution/s, partially or fully, by a student without proper reference to the original ideas and/or works in any text produced and/or submitted by that student;

Copying someone else’s idea and/or work, partially or fully, in any text produced and/or submitted by a student (peer plagiarism); and

Adopting someone else’s idea and/or work, partially or fully, by a student without proper reference to the original idea and/or work in any text produced and/or submitted by a student.

Finally, We can see some of the statements above conclude that, same on the steemit platform we are not limited to making writings or videos or images with special conditions. However, the writings and videos/photos that you publish on the steemit platform must be original works that you made or we have to source the original phase or image.

"I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them"
