The joy of reading
All my life, I've been reading. Almost all the genres. I've been holding myself back from exploring horror. Reading is such an exercise of mindfulness that I have fears I wouldn't be able to handle horror. I may get the courage to dip a toe in the horror pool really soon though so watch out for me.
Reading is the one entertainment that can get all kinds of pleasure from. Then there's the added benefit of learning new things. I have a habit of keeping accounts of parts of books I find remarkable and Hilarious.
Here are a few of my remarkable quotes from different books.
“A man prayed for years to go to paradise. Once, going up a narrow path in the mountains he stumbled and fell into the precipice.
