I hope you are all well by the grace of almighty Allah. My steemit username is @sadiaafreen. My residence is in Gazipur, Bangladesh. I’m very happy to be a part of this platform. My achievement 1 and achievement 2 is verified. It’s a blessing for me. Alhamdulillah.

CONTENT ETIQUETTE

Steemit has some rules and regulations. Every steemit member must abide by it. Because maintaining a beautiful environment is the responsibility of every member. It is important for all current and future members. Every member of this community must act by following this code.

Plagiarism is stealing someone else's work and claiming it as your own.
It is very rude to copy someone else's writing. And it's even more unfair to continue as your own.

Plagiarism takes many forms. Starting from a small theft to a very large theft. Just like a vast ocean from droplets of water. Small crimes lead to big crimes. Similarly, from small theft to big theft through this copy-paste. Here are some common 5 types of plagiarism. The result of which is often seen.

1. Global plagiarism is the act of plagiarism in which another person benefits entirely from one person's work.

2. Verbatim plagiarism is when a person directly copies or duplicates another person's words completely. It is also a very serious theft.

3. Paraphrasing plagiarism means paraphrasing someone else's idea or plan as your own.

4. Patchwork plagiarism means collecting and presenting from different sources or places to create your own story or essay.

5. In self-plagiarism, a person repeatedly uses the experience of his past works. Which is reflected in his works.

Other than global plagiarism, copy-paste or plagiarism happens suddenly or accidentally many times. More or less everyone is somewhat concerned about unintentional theft. Scribbr can help capture this.

Writer B has borrowed with slight variations an uncited phrase from his/her source. As it's written, the passage would not constitute a paraphrase (even if Writer B had acknowledged his/her source) because it contains keywords from the original source that do not appear in quotation marks.

Everyone should be aware of plagiarism. The person whose writing is plagiarized may never know about it. If it ever finds out somehow, it will naturally suffer. He can claim. And nothing is gained without losing individuality. Everyone should follow Steemit's Content Etiquette. It is very important to keep your own identity.
