Achievement - 2 Basic Security on Steem by @raviraj6

Hello everyone, I have already posted My achievement 1 into steem greet community 4 days ago. I have been trying to learn about achievement 2 since past few days and finally figured out about it.

Now i will try to answer all the questions that @cryptokannon asked for this task.

(1). Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes, i have saved all my keys into notepad application of my device and for further security i have kept a screenshot of it on my Google drive account as well.

(2). Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

posting key - Basically it is the lowest tier key but it can perform so many functions. You need to use your posting key to log in steemit, comment, upvote and to post your own publication.

Active key - Active is used to perform financial transaction through your wallet on steem. You need to use Active key when you want to transfer your assets to another user. Also if you want to convert your SBD into steem through the Market section. Its also used to Initiate and cancel your powerdown. You can also use this to vote your favorite steem witnesses.

To Finish this transaction you need to use your Active key

Owner key - I come to notice that it is the highest tier key. Using this key you can reset your Posting, Active and owner key. So basically this key is like your recovery key and master password and it must be save offline on a diary.

Memo key - i don't understand much about this key so i tried to search about it in others users post in steem greet community and figured out you can use this key to send a message to another user on Steem by putting your message into the "MEMO" Section while making a transfer. (# message) this way an encrypted message will be sent.

(3). How do you plan to keep your master password?

I have already wrote down my master password on my diary and have securely saved it offline.

(4).do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes, i know you just need to go to your steemitwallet section and Use your liquid steem or SBD to make a transaction to any user or crypto currency exchange platform by using your Active key.

(5).Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

From the "Power up" function you can power up any amount of steem you want, and you will have to use your Active key to power up steem.
