What is Plagiarism?
Plagiarism is the act of using someone else's work or ideas without proper attribution and presenting it as your own.
i think it is a form of intellectual dishonesty that is considered unethical and can have serious consequences in academic, professionals, and creative contexts.

Types of Plagiarism

Direct plagiarism
Direct plagiarism is copying and pasting someone else's work, word-for-word without attribution or quotation marks.

Self-plagiarism
Self plagiarism is submitting the work that has already been published without acknowledging it .

Mosaic plagiarism
Mosaic plagiarism is using multiple sources and copying and pasting various parts together without proper citation.

Accidental plagiarism
Accidental plagiarism is the unintentionally using someone else's work without attribution or citation due to a lack of knowledge about proper citation or paraphrasing.

Verbatim plagiarism
Verbatim plagiarism is copying someone else's work word-for-word, but acknowledging the original author by citation.

Paraphrasing plagiarism
Paraphrasing plagiarism is to rewording someone else's work without proper citation, even if the ideas are not identical.

Importance of Plagiarism

What is citation?

Citation is basically the act of giving credit to the sources that have been used to support a work, either it is an academic paper, research project, or article. The main purpose of citing sources is to acknowledge the contributions of others to the work, to provide evidence, and to allow readers to locate the original sources for further reading. Citations particularly include the author's name, the title of the work, the date of publication, and other relevant information such as the publisher, the edition, and the page numbers.
I have personally used various citation styles used in academic disciplines, such as APA (American Psychological Association), Modern Language Association (MLA) and many more. During academic writing, it is essential to cite sources accurately and consistently to avoid plagiarism.
There are various tools and resources available to help researcher or writers cite their sources correctly such as citation generator, EndNote, Zotero and many more.

Now at the end i'm going to write example of the quote and than cite it. keep one thing in mind that whenever you are using direct quotes from a source, be sure to put them in quotation marks.
