I'm so excited to write this achievement 2, which I will be talking about security. I have noticed that when writing in Steemit you need to be aware of the uses of some important keys which are; Active keys, memo keys, private posting keys and many others. I highly appreciated @sreadfast112, @prolee, and @ederra for teaching me more about this keys and for this wonderful opportunity to be among steemit.

Security simply means the safe guarding or protecting of information,human beings and property from the danger of other external forces.

SECURITY IN STEEM

Security in Steem are does goals that are been established to protect and regulate the privacy of its members.
In order to protect and regulate the privacy of members,there was need to establish some protection keys which perform different roles and only known to the user.
The five permission keys in steemit are active keys,memo key,owner key, posting key, master key.
Below is an explanation of those keys.

ACTIVE KEY

Active means quick in physical movement.
The active keys has all the functions of the owner key except from changing the owner key its self.
However, it's main goal is for transaction and comfirmation.

MEMO KEY

A memo is a document used to send someone a note about something, for a record.
The memo key is the only key that is particularly used for encrypting ( encryption is the act changing information or ideas into codes) and decrypting ( decryption is the form of changing an already encrypted message back to it's initial form) private message sent and received via your steemit account.

OWNER KEY

The owner permission key gives pure access to enter your Steem account at any given time.
This key allows you to change other keys and control the account, it is one if the most important keys in Steemit.

POSTING KEY

Post are writing or pictures to introduce, make visible on the internet or application. Therefore the posting key is that permission key an account owner to make visible a written or pictures to be viewed by other people.
Posting is the important activity performed with this key , However it has uses e.g up voting (showing support or interest) and down voting( not in support or demoting) selecting who to follow and unfollow etc.
Another important role of this key is the facts that it enables a person to having direct contact( access) to his/her wallet thereby protect the money and allowing the user access the money.

MASTER KEY

A master is an expert on a particular Act.
The master key is greater than every other permission keys and it's established to execute special activities like rebuilding ( changing) of other keys. It can also be known as steemit password because it control other keys and rests at the top.

HOW TO SECURE YOUR KEYS

There have many ways to keep your keys safe based on the processes been made but the must sacred ( important) thing to know is to make sure your keys is safe.
After I created my account, I made sure I kept my details secured and I copied my master key(password) and my other keys to my to my G- mail where I can access it easily even if my phone or laptop get stolen and I also locked my PDF reader with a very strong password to avoid hackers from accessing it.

PROCEDURES FOR TRANSFERRING YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT

➡Click on the round icon that covers your profile where the arrow is facing, when it shows the different options then click on wallet been circled and sign in to your wallet.

➡Click on your steem balance.

➡Click on transfer in the options that displayed when you clicked on your steem balance.

➡Insert the username of the person you want to transfer to and the amount you will like to transfer, then click on next and confirm the transaction.

HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM

➡Click on the icon that covers your profile.

➡Log in to your wallet.

➡click on your steem balance.

➡click on power up in the options that displayed when you clicked on your steem balance.

➡Insert the amount you will like to power up then click on power up and confirm the transaction.

I have now come to understand the different keys in Steem and also have known my terms and condition involve in my Steemit wallet.
