What Is Plagiarism ?
Plagiarism is an act of stealing someones intellectual property. It is cheating. Its robbing someones experiences, thinking, writings, thoughts, inventions etc without giving credit to their intellectual effort and using someones ideas without citing.
Using someone’s ideas without citing or quoting thereby, receiving credit for someone else’s intellectual effort.

How To Avoid Plagiarism ?
Simply don’t cut and paste from a website or retype something from a print source. Even if you do then use quotes and citations properly. Write the information in your own words, but do not change its meaning or intention Because you are using someone else’s idea, always mention the source even if you use your own words. You may have been told that if you put something into your own words, you need not cite. This is incorrect. The material is still someone else’s idea and requires acknowledgement. Paraphrasing requires a citation. If you don’t give credit to a source, it is a violation of copyright laws.
Types Of Plagiarism ?
Accidental Plagiarism : It occurs when there are language problems. Nonnative speakers of English may not be confident of their ability to paraphrase another authors words while still retaining the correct meaning.
Self Plagiarism : It occurs when a person has published some articles earlier and then combines them together to make one larger article or even a book without acknowledging the previous articles.

Say No To Plagiarism ?
Plagiarism is fraud. Stealing work belongs to someone else is cheating. Lying and presenting another’s work as your own is totally unethical when you don't mention the source.
