Good day everyone hope we having a nice time with our families and friends,have being learnig alot from steemit platform,want to carry out the third task which talks about plagiarism.

•What is plagiarism:It is an act of stealing an article written by another person or ideas, a work that he has done as his own writing and work and not acknowledging of the owner of the work or source you got the work or article's from.
Plagiarism is a crime and there is a penalty.

•Types of plagiarism

•Complete Plagiarism: This type of plagiarism is when someone copy entirely another person's writing or pieces words to words.

•Auto-plagiarism:It is the use of a paragraph of the article written by another author without specifying the source, while an author is doing a study.

•Incorrect citation:this is the act of wrong citations that is not correct.

•Self Plagiarism: This refers to the type of plagiarism where the writer copy his or her own thoughts to form another new piece to avoid starting from the beginning and presenting the work in a different work.

How to prevent plagiarism?
Plagiarism is wrong and is very necessary to write without copy-pasting or stealing someone idea or work and if citations are to be made, the source must be specified. We need to avoid quoting verbatim and copying ourselves.
