Charles stepped out of his room to get a drink down the road,he left his door unlocked just because he felt he wasn't going too far and the unlocked door will be a pointer to outsiders that he was around but the story didn't align with his thoughts.
He got back with the drink in his hands only to find out that His two phones and some electronic gadgets were all gone,with tears in his eyes,He whispered into the air...Insecurity causes more harm than good.
Everyone disapprove danger and therefore security has to be upheld.

I'm grateful that steemit has put in place Good measures just to ensure the passwords for our dear accounts are kept safe and secured, informing every user that loss of passwords wrecks a Great havoc of Non-retrieval.

Steemit is a social media platform that gives room to every interested individual to Learn,Explore and Earn and in order to do this,The Master password is generated for every interested individual when they sign up.

The master password is very delicate,it leads to loss of account when misplaced.
It must therefore be kept very safe as it is used to derive all keys/passwords.

By the help of my mentor @talk to faith,I was able to retrieve my keys on the day I completed my registration.

The keys are:
1). Owner key
2). Posting key
3). Active Key
4). Memo Key

OWNER KEY
It is the most powerful key which is meant for use only when necessary because it can change any key of an account including the owner key.
It should be kept offline and used only to recover a compromised account.

POSTING KEY
This key is used more often. It is used to post,write,comment,edit,vote,resteem,follow or mute other accounts.

ACTIVE KEY
This key is used for more sensitive task such as find transfers, power up/down transactions,voting for witnesses,converting Steen dollars,placing a market order,updating profile details and avatar.

MEMO KEY
This key is used to encrypt and decrypt memo when transferring funds.

I wrote my Master password in my personal Diary,I also made a screenshot of it so it can be saved in my Google photos.

I have also learnt how to transfer my Steem token to another steem account through the help of my mentor @talktofaith.

The steps include:
=] login into your wallet using your username and active key in the box provided,mine is already saved.
click on the arrow beside the Steem number,a menu will appear.
Click on transfer.

=]Enter the username of the steem account you are transferring to and the amount you want to transfer.

=]click on next

=]click OK to confirm your transfer.

I also learn how to power up using the following steps

=}Log into your wallet using your username and active key. It will open

=}click on the arrow beside the Steem power, a menu will appear,click on power up.

=}Enter the desired number in the box below

=}click on power up.

Following these process makes it easier for every user to power up their account.
